Opening this business is an experience I wouldn’t change for the world! I have met amazing people and some pretty awesome dogs. A lot of work was put into this business! With that being said, I have decided to sell The K9 Runner. As much as I have enjoyed running it and watching it grow, running a business is just not for me. My passion is veterinary medicine! It has been for 18 years now. I worked part time as a vet tech and would run the business on my days off. There was an opportunity to go full time as a vet tech and I couldn’t let that pass! Being a vet tech is my calling. Thank you Bakersfield for the love and support since opening The K9 Runner!

As summer approaches, short nosed dogs Like boxers, bulldogs, frenchies etc. have a higher chance of heat related illness like heat stroke. If you have a high energy short nosed dog and need to burn off some energy, give us a call or visit the website to book an appointment for a climate controlled run

Thurman Veterinary Center will be participating in the Street Dog vaccination clinic on April 20th! We will be collecting food, toys, beds, and blankets to donate to the animals in need. Please bring any items to the office before next Thursday. We appreciate all of our amazing clients and all they do to help the needy pets in our city! Thank you!
