I already got my jacket from the Uchtman Memorial hunt. May not need it it for a few months, but it got here quick! Thanks again to all the men and women who help put this hunt together, BBCHA and Jim Combs for the additional prizes, and a quick mention to Bad Habit Hunting Supply for making the jacket and getting it here so fast!

Took Bugs out by herself last night. Popped this one up, but I was most proud of how she hunted on the 2nd drop. Went a half mile and made a good circle. Never opened her mouth, but her hunting that good was very good to see, finally!!!

DJ and I had a pretty good hunt last night. Tremor and Bugs had a pair of c**ns here. They went about 600 yards and struck these off of a pond. 300 yard track or so. Both young dogs looked good on this one!

I have considered doing this for a long time and have finally decided to get started sharing a little bit more about Bridges Creek Blueticks. The name comes from me growing up in Southern Missouri and hunting on a little creek called, of course, Bridges Creek. I have hunted from several different lines of blueticks and have had some nice ones, but the mainstay of what I have always hunted comes from Lonnie Uchtman’s breeding. I look forward to sharing a little of what’s going on in our neck of the woods.
