Another Merry Christmas from my little gift this year ♥️. We nearly lost Nami last year due to a ruptured uterus. The vets called, informing us she wouldn't survive the surgery, exhausting all their blood supply. However, miraculously, hours later, they called with news of her survival. Her chances were slim in the following weeks, but she defied expectations, fighting through weeks of hospitalization. When she finally returned home, she was scared to be apart, so we slept together on her little bed. She made a complete recovery, but I'll always cherish her; she's my gift this year.🎁

☀️🏝️🐾Dog Pool Pawty Alert! 🐾🎾🌼

What an incredible day it was to swim in the Bakersfield heat yesterday! The Goldens came over to play, and all the dogs are thoroughly exhausted this morning.

For corgis with such small legs, they are surprisingly great swimmers. And Sunny, the Golden Retriever, turned out to be the worst swimmer among them all. Luckily, she discovered that she was tall enough to walk, and though it wasn't pretty, she had lots of fun walking on her hind legs in the pool. 😂

Honey and Goose demanded to be in the pool the most, while Nami and Meeko loved playing fetch in the water.
Sister was the best swimmer🏆, but she spent most of her time chasing Robin outside the pool.

Can't wait for the next paw-some adventure!

Apparently, my Big Rainbow tomato plant agrees with this heat! I didn't have time to do anything special with the soil in the flower beds around my garage, so I just put some tomatoes in the ground, sprinkled a little bit of potting soil and straw. It hadn't grown since I planted it a little over a month ago (I expected the soil was too hard to grow anything). However, this heat wave last week suddenly sprouted everything in these flower beds! Meekos ready for some strange looking tomatoes 🍅 ☀️🐾

The process of trying to get the perfect photo! 😅📷 They used to be so easy to capture, but over the years, they have developed their own sick sense of humor. They think it’s so funny when they roll on the ground, going "awoaaa," and run around the room throwing toys whenever we attempt to take photos. 😂 I can't put into words just how much personality these dogs have. 🤷🏻‍♀️♥️🐾

Picture this: three corgis, or should I say trouble makers, decided to go on an exploration adventure under the house, causing my heart to skip a beat, thinking they had somehow escaped the yard!

I let them play for a whole 15 minutes while I prepped breakfast. When I finally bring them back inside, can you guess what happened? They vanished into thin air! I searched the house up, down, inside, and outside. Note: I have the most secure dog home in history with so many safety measures in place to prevent them from getting out.

I went back outside to find where they escaped from. And what did I find? There they were, sitting right at the door, as if nothing had happened. The audacity! Those three little devils were acting like it was nothing more than a figment of my imagination. I saw they opened the cover to go under the house. They received a stern talking-to. You can tell in the photo they definitely understand what they did wrong and are very sorry. 😆

Which btw has never happened on any of my pups to this extent. So I’m resharing her in case fate has kept her from finding the wrong family & she’s meant for someone on here.

Today Meeko finally loosened up a bit and actually wanted to hangout away from the puppies for the first time since they were born. Nature is incredible. I wasn’t sure if she was gonna relax soon. She has been very strict since they were born. She would go potty and run full speed back to her babies. Usually at 5 weeks old our other litters have gradually started getting space from mom over the last weeks. But today she actually decided to come hangout for a bit. She told me when she was ready to start giving them space. She’s such a good mom. 🥹

Yellow collar still needs a family! Last puppy of Nami’s last litter. She is a carbon copy of her mom. I’d love for her to find the perfect home because she’s a special girl. 💛 I’ve never seen a puppy look just like Nami and I wish we could keep her (we were originally going to) but with our vet bills for her mom we have to let her go to a family who will love her as much as we do. 🥹 link in bio for details

Look whose home! Goose was staying with family during this whole ordeal because we had 2 girls in heat and his appointment to be neutered isn’t till next month. So with everything going on I didn’t wanna risk any accidents. 😅 but he hasn’t left Nami’s side since he got home. They are best friends and the retired old birds in our home. ♥️
