Precision Hoof Care works with a variety of performance and pleasure horses, of all shape and size, but ask that they behave appropriately. The hoof is your horses only connection to the ground. It is how he receives information about terrain and his relationship with gravity. Here at Precision Hoofcare, we believe that improving the hoof will allow for a more accurate transfer of information. When the horse receives proper input from it's body it is able to live, work and perform better. An apparent sign of a horse receiving incorrect information about where it's body is, a horse who repeatedly stands with it's legs camped under itself. Hooves are only one contributing factor to this scenario, other causes include dental misalignment, and chiropractic subluxations. One of these horses wears 4 shoes, the other wears boots when needed. This is what I’m about... providing the service or application that works best for the individual horse.

Thoroughbred feet are like slipping on my favorite pair of jeans.
They make me look good.

Anyway, I think Kahn Plain shoes are underrated and plastic pads, no matter how cool and trendy, are overrated.
This horses frog and sole have some evidence of fungal growth and will benefit from some topical treatments as well as good old-fashioned fresh air!

Frog support comes in many styles. This is by far the cutest. I named him David.

I’m just here to remind you that farrier life is freakin’ glamorous y’all.

It’s July. I barely sweat, just glisten. That right front shoe definitely didn’t get burned into my hand before it got burned into a hoof. The unpredictable weather(and bugs) leave horses with plenty of excess wall.

Lastly, I’ve got a lovely ocean front property in Arizona for sale. Dm me for details.
