Meet my friend Snickers, the senior of the day. At 13 years old I’m sure that Snickers main job is napping.
Tinkerbell would rather be anywhere but here.
Darla is just a little lap dog, she would make a great purse dog.

It was a big dog kind of day with some littles mixed in.
Nova is an extremely sweet girl, she lives up the street from us.
Marley is a nut case! You know those dogs that will never grow up? Well you’re looking at one!
Poe came bounding in with both feet up on the door. It was like he was saying, “I’m here!”
Molly loves attention. When you walk away from her it’s like the end of the world Molly barks and whines until you put a hand on her.

Callie girl is a beautiful redhead. I have a feeling that she will be looking for a place to play in the dirt.
Gracie’s parents like her to have the natural look, but we had to shorten her up a little. Gracie hates knots and will kill you for brushing.
Abbey is a beautiful, calm, sweet girl. After her haircut she felt like velvet.

Brownie was very upset today. Her sister Molly came in with her just for a butt cleaning and got to go home. Brownie had to stay for the whole shebang.
Henry is just a ball of energy! He thinks he comes to play not for a haircut.
Heidi came in for a bath and nails. She got a nail stuck in her mom’s housecoat and was not happy about it!
Bandit is the senior of the day at almost 15! He’s deaf and partially blind but still a happy boy.

Chloe and Polly are sisters. Chloe is a real calm girl, Polly is all over the place. I told her mom I thought she was getting senile, she’s only about 8. That’s means she’s just crazy.

Shiloh is an old timer who just wants a little love. If you pick her up she just settles right in your arms.
Tuffy lives up to her name! She will fight you to the end to clip her face!
Molly always gives me the eyes when she comes in, if she could talk she would say you have got to be kidding me, another haircut.
Libby runs in the door and right to the cage. Today I had to climb in the cage and get her. The problem with that is by the time I got up off my knees she had gone back in!

Today was mostly seniors.
Junior is 14 he has a lot of arthritis and is very sore. We do the best we can.
Maggie is 13 and lost her sister from the same litter years ago. She’s getting a little senile and would rather be at home in bed, but really a good girl.
I also groomed Rosie today who according to her dad will be 15 in July. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of her because I was to busy snuggling her. Rosie might weigh 6 pounds.
And Harley was the baby of the day. Harley is about 5 years old.

Mac was better this time around. The last time in he tried to eat me! He must have ate before he came in, this time he only tried a nibble or two.

Kara’s dad says she loves ice cubes. The problem is that it snowed and that is like one big ice cube to her. She is uncontrollable outside!
Otto is just a baby , it was only his second haircut. He is such a sweetheart!
Sophie is another little love. I was talking to her dad and she was yawning and dozing off in his arms. So relaxed.

Nicholas and Duncan con not get in the door fast enough!! They come tearing in dragging their mom behind them.
Look closely into Nicks eyes. The blue in them is amazing.

Royce was a first timer. At 13 it’s hard to get used to a new groomer but his old groomer retired. We will be friends eventually.

Pumpkin is a 7 month old miniature Golden Doodle. This was her first haircut. Don’t worry Pumpkin , it will grow back in.

Stella’s activities have been curtailed. She has a torn ACL and has to wear a brace for a couple of months. No more rabbit and squirrel chasing.

Today was Gracie’s first visit with us. What a sweet heart. Her mom said see was going home to her Labrador brothers, she rules the roost. We hope to see her again
Bailey is something else. She squeals the way in the car & the whole time in the tub! We definitely need earplugs.
Lucy is a gentle giant, she’s an extremely large Goldendoodle with a big heart.

McKenzie didn’t know it but she was getting a pup cup from Longacres Dairy after her grooming.
When Frankie came in tonight his whites were brown. I do not hold to much hope that it will not happen again.
Tucker was a first timer for us tonight. A super sweet calm dog. Hope he liked us as much as we liked him!

Two bigs and a little.
Sheila is a gentle giant, she is very patient. It takes almost 45 minutes to dry all that hair.
Snickers is an old girl. She would rather be in her mommas lap than on my table.
And we have Luna, can that face look any sadder?

Riley and Gracie are siblings. When they come running in Gracie runs for the laundry area hoping we can’t find her. Riley is a maniac, all over the place. Her mom call her an attention w***e, her words not mine.
