Alright! Lately the Focus at All Things Aquatics has been to pour into those who have been inspired by what we do on a daily basis! THANK YOU to EVERYONE who played a part in achieving our summer goals! I can assure you guys that we will continue to do more events and education programs as we continue to grow! With that being said It’s only JULY and it only gets better from here💙🐠.

DID YOU KNOW!

Like desert plants, mangroves store fresh water in thick succulent leaves. A waxy coating on the leaves of some mangrove species seals in water and minimizes evaporation. Small hairs on the leaves of other species deflect wind and sunlight, which reduces water loss through the tiny openings where gases enter and exit during photosynthesis.

All things aquatics will featured in this year’s CanoeMobile ”Floating Classroom” event in the DC AREA!! We are extremely excited to be able to connect students to both Marine and feshwater ecosystems through aquariums and a few hands on activities! So this month All Things Aquatics will be heading to the DC area to take part in Wilderness Inquiry’s Canoemobile Program, which is a “floating classroom” that brings students out on local waterways to learn about science, history, geography, and culture. We will be connecting both Salt and freshwater through a variety of activities and even a surprise touch tank! Update 2022,

Just a quick update on Everything. So with moving and tanks cycling at the new place, I will be slightly limited on inventory of livestock and “Rarer” fish. So if it’s a specific or hard-to-find fish, 9/10 I can get it in but a deposit need a to be made once it’s confirmed 10/10. I try to be as transparent as possible so further details will be provided 👍🏽 Any Questions just ask. As for more common hobby fish coral inverts etc. , they’ll be in regularly including some new (TR) fish🙂
