It was an amazing weekend. I finally got to meet up with other Russian Salon Dog breeder friends at the show. Anastasia won Best in Show Reserve Rare Breed Adult. Kuzya and Anastasia both received new champion titles. And right before ring time, my son Joshua messaged to say that I am a Nana again. Welcome to the world, sweet baby Veronica Marie. 💕

My new imported Russian Salon Dog, stud boy puppy, arrived today. His tag say he was made in China, so that means he has an exotic pedigree. He will be making his big debut this Christmas. So far, he’s been very quiet and cooperative. Oh, and he lights up too! 🤣🤣🤣😉😉😉🤣🤣🤣

It was an exciting weekend. My Russian Salon Dogs did great in competition, despite the near 100 degree temperatures. It was so hot, but they rose to the occasion, and they did it! I couldn’t be more proud and thankful to the breeders that entrusted me with their care. I can’t believe I didn’t get Kuzya’s picture. It just got so late, hot and we were all exhausted. Next month for sure, my beautiful boy!

Super petite and tiny Russian Salon Dog male. Rusalkas are very, very rare in the United States. He will be solid gold with a touch of white on his chest. His dark face will lighten considerably, and will not stay that dark. He is currently only 1 pound even at 8 weeks old. He absolutely loves being cuddled and held. Puppy mischief!

Learning to walk. 💕

Just sharing cuteness. Baby boy already has a mama. 💕

Baby girl kept pulling out her mama’s topknot. Mama is playing with the baby to tire her out so that mama can get back to her nap. Notice how she uses her body to block the baby from grabbing at her hair. Mamas will often discipline through play, but most mamas will also cuff a rambunctious toddler to bring them into line. It helps the baby learn to be an obedient pack member. Puppies taken too early from their mamas never learn valuable lessons like bite inhibition.

Baby boy got his first topknot today. Let’s just say the experience left him underwhelmed. He is still charting to be 2 ¾ pounds when he is a fully grown adult.

I just adore this baby. He is already spoken for, and not available.

Dad is so patient with his babies. 💕

Night, night sweet baby!

The puppies want out. Tayoria has learned if she lays against the puppy pen, they will give her a nice back rub. 😂
