Come Learn about Guiding Eyes for the Blind!
Do you love dogs? Are you interested in changing someone's life? If your answer is yes to either of these questions, please join us on Saturday, January 25th from 10:00-11:30 am at the Long Branch Library (8800 Garland Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20901) for an incredible opportunity to learn about Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
This non-profit organization raises and trains service dogs to help blind people.
Learn about the journey of a guide dog from puppy to service and the network of volunteers and trainers that shape a service dog's life. You will hear from and be able to ask questions to veteran and new volunteer puppy raisers, hear from a guide dog recipient about the impact on their life, and have the opportunity to meet some of these amazing animals.
