Due to no fault of his own, canine Rocky is looking for his forever home. Unfortunately he requires a lifestyle that his current home could not provide.

Rocky has a lot of love to give however cannot be at a home where another canine is present nor cats (small animals in general).

Canine Rocky is fully trained on off leash and on leash commands and definitely loves cuddles and treats.

If you know anyone interested please have them contact us. Canine Rocky will be staying with his current owners until a better home can be found.

Videos of Rocky’s training can be found if you scroll down on our business page.

Thank you everyone in advance!

Hello all

I have a special needs Cocker Spaniel that is up for adoption as a Human Remains or Conservation canine candidate. He could be trained in any detection field at this stage if wanted.

He was imported from the UK for a detection project but has a veterinary/behavioral issue which means I am not willing to sell him to a client. He is, therefore available for adoption.

He is imprinted (basic) on HR and gives a nice passive response. He has a very high drive for hunting and reward, including treats. He is clicker trained.

The issue is he spins and barks when over stimulated and this can be of concern if you didn’t know him. He is on phenobarbital, and this has made a huge difference. The vet says he may wean off the meds in the future, but no guarantee. it costs me $30 a month for meds. He has had 3 behaviorist review the behavior, and all state it is not an OCD or neurological but rather related to stress and anxiety. The behavior MAY resolve when out of the kennel environment. It’s most prevalent when he has a bone or squeaky toy. Also, if a lead gets wrapped around his back leg. The behavior can be interrupted and lasts 3 secs or so.

I am looking for a forever home that will train and work Rocky (he LOVES to work and was very easy to teach things). They MUST have an understanding of his needs and patience with his behavior. He must not have an ecollar as the behavior is very similar to overusing a collar.

He’s been very neutral with other dogs, and I’ve walked him off leash.

I prefer someone that can meet Rocky before adopting and must be someone that will commit to his long-term forever home and welfare. Located near San Antonio, Texas.

This…this makes it all worth it. Cloudy was timid of the world and had walls up. Today, as I was talking to this gentleman, Cloudy simply aporoached him and let him pet him. This video is more powerful than anyone can ever imagine.

**Warning**

Image May be too much for some.

Layka had to do surgery to remove a tumor which ended up being cancerous. Thankfully the vet staff at .firstvc are amazing and were able to remove all of it. Now she is on the road to recovery!
