We are happy to announce we are offering a brand new Class!
Canine Good Citizen Urban Class.
This class will be about going out in public places with your Pup.
Date: Thursday September 26th.
Time: 5:00 pm
We will be visiting several local dog friendly businesses
and working on the following:
Exit/enter doorway with no pulling in dog-friendly buildings.
Walk through a crowd on a busy urban sidewalk. • People come toward the dog from 1-ft. away
Appropriate reaction to city distractions. This includes movement, noises, and walking on a variety of surfaces (e.g., horns, traffic noise, bikes, surfaces such as concrete, grass).
Crossing street: Stop at corner, stand or sit to wait and cross with no pulling (on leash, with owner). Crosses street under control.
Ignore food on sidewalk. (Dropped food, or cups, bags, cans, in which food was wrapped).. Person walks up and pets the dog. May be carrying an item such as a small dog in a bag, a computer bag, etc..
Walks under control in public building (slick surface, carpeted floor).
Stairs, steps, (at least 3 - up and down)
Down stay (3 min) in lobby or outdoor area, or waits while owner has a meal or snack.
5 week Class.....
The first week will be in Class.
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weeks we will be going out to local businesses.
The 4th. week will be a test.
Prerequisite must have passed Canine Good Citizen.
Copy of Vaccinations records required.

Beginner Class
Starting : Monday September 23rd.
Time : 6:30pm.
A perfect class for any dog ( 6 months )
or older needing to learn basic commands
OR
Great continuation class if you have
already attended our Puppy Training Class.
For dogs 6 months and older.
Learn basic commands including sit, down, off, come, stay, attention work, walking on a leash, polite greeting behavior and foundations for heel.
( 5 week class )
Copy of Vaccinations records required.

Puppy Class.
Starting : Monday September 23rd.
Time : 5:30pm.
PUPPY Class (10 weeks – 5 months of age)
A perfect class for your new family member. We have off leash playtime with the puppies. Learn foundation training and basic commands including sit, down, come, attention work and leash manners! We will discuss common problems such as house breaking, jumping, nipping, and chewing.
5 week class.
Copy of Vaccinations records required.

Today will be our hottest day of the year so far, conditions will be over 100° in most spots.
Expect more of the same on Tuesday too.
