Hey friends It's been a while! I still have our first rescue Joseph that is still in need of a home. I Haven't been doing anything to bring in money for food and vet cost, I have just been doing it out if pocket. I have decided to do a couple of online R A F F L E S to help build up a little money to have to go toward these things and hopefully soon I can find him a home. So Stayed tune for a couple of post with the items. However, they have taken down my PayPal do the the gun tickets I did so I fill have to be Facebook pay or cash app.

Hey guys please consider purchasing a T-SHIRT thru the fundraiser I have going!! They are super cute and this will help Joseph and the other dogs we take in. Meet our first rescue "Joseph"! His temporary brother Max named him! He's the sweetest boy! He is good with other dogs, cats, and children! He has had no accidents in his kennel and he just wants to be inside! I am VERY confident he would make someone a very good companion! He had his first bath today and he did great! He loves treats and gets so excited when he sees the boys playing ball. We will be taking applications for his adoption. He is approximately 3-4 years old. He does great on his leash! He needs to gain a little weight but he is VERY strong. He loves attention and I can't wait til this boy finds his "fURever" home. He will be vet checked, vaccinated, and Neutered before he goes to his new home. Please consider adopting this sweet man! If anyone would want to sponsor his adoption let me know. Hey friends I haven't posted in a while!! One reason being I was trying to slack off until we were all set and ready to go!! Thankfully we are ALMOST there!! I'm happy to say my yard sale was a success and put money in the account to move on and purchase some of the stuff we needed to complete the kennels! Also....501c3 papers have been filed so if all goes well soon any donations made will be tax deductible, that's if I submitted it all correctly!! I'm getting anxious and excited to soon be able to save the pitties! Stay tuned for more announcements soon!

Hey guys I have a few things up my sleeve. First I going to do a little competition. I need everyone to invite friends to like the page, everyone that invites at least 5 friends will be put in a drawing to receive a $15 Walmart gift card. I forgot to add an awesome thing that happened for us!! A few days ago Jason contacted the fence doctor in Paducah, after someone recommended doing so. They said a lot of times he will sell used fencing cheap if he knows what your doing. Jason called him and we were in shock when he told Jason he would DONATE the fencing so we could fence in part of our yard. Guys that's amazing, there are still good people in this world. If anyone know of any resources or people that would being willing to donate or help out with other things we will need like kennel panels or dog houses or any supplies PLEASE send them our way!! All I can say is how grateful we are for the awesome people that are still out there in this world! We love you all!!

Meet Rico
(Rest in peace sweet man)

My, my, my.....what can I say about this sweet man. He was the absolute best!! I can never thank Crystal Riley enough for letting us love this sweet man for the last couple months of his life. When I say ONE OF A KIND, that is an absolute understatement. He was a BIG baby. If he didn't like what you were doing he was going to let you know! He could carry on a conversation with you (just ask Jason). My heart shattered the day this dog left this earth. I honestly didn't know if my life could go on (I know that's silly bc he was just a dog) but he was WAY more than just a dog. I could
Not imagine how I would of felt if we would of had him more than 2 months. He took Rico in when his other mom was moving and couldn't take him with her. I will never forget those messages when I reached out to her about him. Jason was not happy with me about telling her we could take him....but let me tell you, he fell in love with him just like the rest of us. He slept with us every night, under the covers. If he was ready for bed and you were not going as fast as he wanted you to, he would definitely let you know. And his farts were deadly and he could run you out of a room 🤣🤣. OMG I could go on and on about this boy. It brings tears to my eyes every time I talk about him or thank about him. He was 10 years old and I sure wished we would of had more time with him. He will always be missed and loves by my family. RIP sweet Rico! 💔💔

Meet the puppies
Roxi and Rica

Well we jumped on the puppy wagon the beginning of the year. We lost sweet Rico in October and it shattered my heart. I told my husband I wanted a puppy. One I could raise how I wanted it and be like Rico. So I will say the puppies are not rescues. Roxi was born on November 20. We picked her out and when to see her several times before we got to bringing her home. It was not the plan to get a 2nd but Rica is Roxi's half sister. They have the same dad. I thought puppies would be easier with 2. She was born on Max's birthday December 9th. They fight just like sisters. There is not a dull moment in our house with these 2. It took a while for the big dogs to warm up to them but they all get along now. Roxi is huge, she is serious a giant. And sweet Rica is is a lot tinier than her sister. Roxi wants to be held like a baby, even though she's big and Rica would rather you not pick her up. But she does want to sit in your lap while she sleeps. They are pretty sweet pups and we are glad to have them complete our tribe.

Meet Honey

What can I say about Honey?? This girl is SWEETHEART. She has been through so much in her life, it's so sad. She came to the shelter as a court case with 10 other pitbulls. She was in the shelter from October until February when she could be adopted. She was not in the best of health. All she was used for at her first home was breeding. If only I knew how many litter of puppies this sweet girls has had. There is no telling. She was heartworm positive when we got her, she had several rotten teeth, and she had awful ear infections. The ear infections were so bad we had to get surgery (a very expensive surgery) on both ears. They completely went in a removed everything from her ear drum up and closed it back up. So now she can't hear very well. She's also had all her bad teeth pulled. She Has definitely been a money pit but we wouldn't have it any other way. When I say she is so sweet and loving that is not an understatement. Max, my 5 year old sleeps on top of her most nights and she loves it. He is her boy that's for sure. She's a lot older than the rest of ours dogs so we don't know how much time we will have with her but I hope it's a lot. She is almost 90 pounds but that does not stop her from thinking she's a lap dog. She's the best around and we love her with all our hearts.

Meet Bo

Bo is currently the only male we have in our dog group. One reason for that is because he gets a little mad at us when we bring males home. He gets over it but he really likes to be the man of the house, and that's ok. Bo also came from
The mayfield shelter like JoJo. We got Bo in Jan of 2020 so JoJo would have a friend. They immediately hit it off and now they are a bonded pair. They are best friends. Bo is probably the best listener we have. He's not as outgoing as our other dogs, he would rather keep to hisself. His person Is definitely Jason. They are a lot a like and they really love each other. He's pretty adventurous, especially if he gets out with his sister JoJo. He may act like he don't like you by ignoring you but I can tell you he really does. We are so glad to have him as part of our clan, it wouldn't be the same without him.

Meet JoJo

JoJo was our very first rescue and the one that caused us to fall in love with the Bully breed. If it wasn't for her, none of this would be happening. She's one of a kind that's for sure. She is beautiful. But let me tell you.....she is SOOO stubborn 😂. She will just stand there and look you when she knows she's in trouble. I'm pretty sure she thinks she is a person. She is about 2 years old from what we were told. We have problem with her and her brother Bo running off of they get out together so that's a job making sure they go out one and a time. She is also the queen at killing moles. Our yard has tons of holes where she digs them up. She is also pretty good a fighting coyotes 🤣. You just never know what she will get in to. She loves getting dirty, tearing up toys within 2 minutes of getting them, and getting loved on. We love this sweet girl with our whole heart even is she is hard headed.

INTRODUCTION POST

Good Morning all Pittie Lovers!! I so excited to wake up to all the likes for our new page, I am thankful to have so many people behind us and supporting what we are wanting to do. I decided I needed to do an introduction post to tell a little about myself and my family so here goes....

My name is Melissa Duff. I currently live in Bardwell, KY with my husband Jason, our 6 kids, and 5 pit bulls. We bought our house a little over 2 years and we love where we live. I work full time at First Community Bank in Wickliffe and Jason is a Deckhand for ADM in Wickliffe. Between work, kids, and dogs we stay pretty busy. We fell in the love with bully breed a little over a year ago, when we rescued our first from the shelter. After we first made the decision to adopt, we knew we had made the right decision. Rescues are so loving and appreciative of their forever homes. In our spare time, if we ever have any we enjoy traveling. Jason and I try to get away a couple times a year to places we haven't visited before. It gives us time to breathe and relax since our lives are so hectic. We both have big heart and enjoy helping especially pits. Another accomplishment I have that I am pretty proud of, is that in Feb 2020, I made the decision to donate a kidney. I have always wanted to help people and I think between the donation surgery and rescing Pits I have found my calling. In the summer time I am usually always at the ballfields, since all 4 of my boys play ball. I love it and I try to never miss a game. There is not a lot more to know about me. Our lives are pretty simple and down the earth. We can't wait for our rescue to take off and be a success. We know it will be a lot of work in order for us to be a successful but we willing to do what we can to help place pits in loving homes.
