**** Update on Remi ******

It's been a week now since Remi went missing and time is getting critical that he is located. Remi is a 7 month old Golden Retriever who was last seen in the area of Autumn Rd with his leash still attached to him. Thorough area searches have been conducted, including the use of drones without success. It is possible someone picked up Remi thinking he was a stray or abandoned. The family of Remi is asking that anyone who may have mistaken Remi as abandoned to please return him with no questions asked. Please call 413-364-0223 if you have information or you want to return Remi to his family. You can also call the police department to arrange Remi's return (413-263-3210) Thank you

Nova went home to her forever family yesterday. This girl came to us a couple of months ago so timid it was difficult to convince her to go outside and play. The first couple of days she was so depressed we had to make her rice and hamburger to get her to eat. The slow progress to help her find her inner happy dog has paid off. The decision to move her into a quieter home with only one other dog (her littermate)was not an easy one but today we could cry with joy receiving updates of her smiling next to her brother the first day with her new family. I cannot thank my husband David enough for all of the time he has spent with Nova. He slept in the less chaotic spare room with her for weeks convincing her that sleeping in the bed was better than the crate, that eating with the pack was better than hiding in the other room. Hanging out and napping with everyone is always better than napping alone. We knew right away when Merissa and her husband Jon came to visit Nova that she was choosing them. Almost like she had been waiting for them to come get her. From laying in Merissa lap with a smile when she first met them to Nova happily jumping into their truck to go home. I cannot stress enough how much dogs need us for guidance and direction. If left to their own devices and habits they can develop tendencies that have negative effects on their emotional well being. They rely on us for reassurance that the world doesn’t have to be scary and they can live their best lives with us protecting them. I can’t end this update without mentioning how amazing our pack of dogs are. To be able to add a dog to it on a whim and know that every one of our dogs are well rounded enough to help rehabilitate a timid and insecure dog makes me a proud doggy mom. This rehoming made my year 🥰

Our regal and beautiful girl Morgan has gone into heat. We will be breeding her with the bestest boy in the world Maverick sometime next week. Puppies expected in February. We still have some room on her list for male puppies.
