About us
Our Ratties are first our family pets, second our show dogs, and occasionally the bearer of wonderful puppies. We are located in Vermont and show mostly in the eastern part of the country. We are owner-handlers, meaning we do not hire professionals to show our dogs but show them ourselves. Showing is what gives us insight into how our breeding program is developing. Our goal is breed dogs that meet the AKC & UKC Rat Terrier breed standard. We do not breed merles or brindles nor Toys or Deckers. We believe the Rat Terrier Standard is what makes a Rat Terrier a Rat Terrier and that if breeders do not strive to adhere to the standard Rat Terriers will cease to be Rat Terriers.
