A bit ago we posted about Skipper, a ”puppy” that was being raised for Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind and America's VetDogs by Lauren, the daughter of our Veterinary Nurse, Sarah. Skipper was being raised by Lauren for her High School Senior Project. In June, Lauren And Skipper Graduated High school and in August Lauren headed to College. On December 9th, Skipper headed to IFT, Individual Formal Training, ”college” He is in formal training to be a service dog for a military veteran or First Responder. Since many of you were able to meet Skipper, and have asked about him we will keep you posted on his progress. Stay tune to meet the newest Guide Dog/America’s Vet Dogs puppy that you could meet at your next visit!

Due to the forecasted winter storm, the hospital will be opening at 10 AM tomorrow, January 20, 2023 if it is safe for our staff and clients to do so. Please check our page for updates.
