Happy Thanksgiving!!! Help make it a good one for your pups; ER Vet visits go way up over the holidays because dogs will eat things that are not healthy for them. Many of the foods we enjoy are not good for your animal companions.

While my intention was to strictly focus on working with dogs, it seems the universe has a broader plan.

In May I started working with horses, doing readings and energy clearing work. Each client is a gift. Recently I had the pleasure of working with this beautiful horse Della (SPH Della De Sandro) located in Australia. We still have some work yet to do; I am excited for this journey with Della and her Mum.

September 10th is National Pet Memorial Day.

For all those who have lost an animal companion the storm of emotions can be overwhelming. That is why I created Serenity Ceremony to help support both the animal companion, their humans and animal friends. The Ceremony can be conducted in the days prior to their passing or as a memorial.

While this work can be hard, helping to bring comfort to others who are hurt, or grieving is bittersweet for me. There is a tenderness in seeing someone connect with love through the pain.

If you are grieving the loss of an animal companions, be kind to yourself, take some time to do something special for yourself and to remember them.

Doggie meatloaf

3/4 can pumpkin, 3 eggs, 1T parsley, 1 lb lean ground beef. Cook at 350F for 35-40 minutes. The eggs will rise to the top because there isn't any flour to bind them. Substitute salmon or ground pork for the beef if you would like, whole smelt or sardines can be added in as well. Make sure to use pure pumpkin not the premixed pie filling.

Horseshoe Crabs remind me of my childhood, such a shame this is going on in the animal kingdom.

Horseshoe crab blood is used to test vaccines around the world. But while Europe has approved a synthetic alternative, biomedical labs are bleeding more crabs from the Atlantic coast.
