The day she came to us for training you couldn’t walk her on a lead rope, she was hard to catch, kicked me once, and broke Levi’s sacrum. She was untrustworthy and a bolter. She would drag you no matter how big you thought you were.

RJ talked me into buying her, being the most expensive and less trained horse in our herd. I thought he was crazy 😒

But…. With lots of love and communication she has turned out to be such a sweet girl 🤍 she’s fitting right in with our herd and I have to say I don’t regret the purchase anymore🥰

Why CM Equine was created

CM Equine was created from the stress of spending so much time working to support our horses we didn't have enough time to enjoy them. For several years we contemplated on who we were selling to downsize the herd. It never got us anywhere because we love them all in their own individual way. So we came up with the conclusion that they could start supporting themselves.

I have had an obsession with horses since I was a little girl. I bought the first horse of our herd at the age of 18 while pregnant with my 2nd child. I always had a way with horses and I progressed highly in the Natural Training Method. I went to college for my Criminal Justice degree, my thoughts were to become and Agricultural deputy. While in college I became involved with learning and apprenticing in Natural Barefoot Trimming. Over the next ten years I acquired trimming over 2,000 horses a year while collecting 9 horses of my own. I spent most of my time trimming to take care of my 9 head of horses I started to lose the balance of quality time with them. In the mean time many people asked to use my horses in weddings, photo shoots, parades, beach rides etc... Finally I came to the conclusion that my horses have the variety of color, the personalities, and the EXPERIENCE to make something of themselves. I can trim 2,000 horses a year for ONLY so long. I created this business to support my horses while SPENDING TIME WITH MY HORSES.
