Shasta and Brody had a beautiful litter on May 11, 2024. They will be ready to go at 8 weeks old on July 6, 2024. They have their tails docked and dewclaws removed, will be wormed regularly, have their first shot, and vet exam before leaving. Puppies will be working on using the doggy door. Happy National Dog Day!

Back in February I started coughing up a little blood. It took a month to get in to see a general physician. They took X-rays and bloodwork and said everything was fine. A few days later I ended up in the ER in Louisville with pancreatitis and pneumonia. While in there for a week they noticed spots and lesions in my lungs, liver, pancreas, and a few other places.
AU oncology was supposed to follow up with me after I was released. They were quite concerned. Well 3 days after being released I ended up in the ER at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta. Still had pneumonia and pancreatitis and scans were very concerning. Augusta oncology requested biopsies and more scans. Diagnosis was stage 4 metastatic cancer with an unknown primary. After another trip back to the ER in severe pain I was told by several doctors that my body lit up like a Christmas tree from the cancer and we needed to start chemotherapy now. The diagnosis was grim. I lost a lot of weight and was not able to do anything. My mother came to stay with us to help out and take turns getting me to treatments. I was blessed to have Jim beside me and my son Michael to help out with the animals. So many people prayed for us and checked in on us to make sure we had what we needed. They did a pet scan to see how I was doing after 4 months of chemotherapy because I ended up having two allergic reactions and was down to the one chemo drug. On Wednesday we went to the doctor to hear the results. The doctor was just as excited as we were to read that there were no signs of any cancer anywhere in the scans. This was truly a miracle from God! Chemotherapy has been stopped. I will continue with the immunotherapy for a little bit to build my white blood cells back up and they will monitor my body for any changes. I want to thank everyone who has prayed for us, supported us, and checked in on us. We appreciate all of you!

We have finally updated our phone number to Georgia! Our new number is 478-357-9588. Even though we moved to Georgia 3 years ago we had kept our SC number to keep up with past puppies. It has gotten very confusing for new customers to figure out where we are. We will continue to leave our old number active so we can contact everyone.
