Our Story
This is a story of a family of 5 blind cats and their 2 sighted siblings. It didn’t start out this way but because of Braille, our life has gone in such a different direction than we thought. To fill you in on the kitties you will see, there is Cicero, the orange tabby who is the oldest (15 years old) and Shelby, the tuxedo (9 years old), who are the two original cats and are the sighted ones. Then comes Braille, the Bengal tabby mix (5 years old); Louis, the white/gray tabby who stayed kitten size (4 years old); Stevie, the cream tabby (3 years old); Pipkin, the Russian Blue (who will be 2 in a month), and last but not least, Lily, the long-haired cream tabby (9 or 10 years old), an unexpected rescue that is an absolute lovebug. So, come join us, ask questions (we have done lots of research on blind cats and trying to convince the husband to write a book about what he has learned), and enjoy the overall mayhem of our home.
