A spooky fun treat for your pups!!
Are you sick of puppy posts yet? 😅
Shhh she’s gorgeous you couldn’t possibly be! 😆
Here’s something different: look what happens when you mix blue spirulina or berry powder with Gelatin! 😮
🥣To make these you just need to add your dog-friendly Berry powder of choice to our usual Gelatin recipe listed below. We’ve made two batches of the recipe, one had 3/4 of a level teaspoon blue spirulina powder added to it. The other batch had 1 level teaspoon of black goji berry powder added.
🍓You could use any organic, dog-friendly berry powders such as blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, goji, cranberry and so on.
💕We’ve used black goji Berry as they are a prescribed part of Uluru’s TCM Pannus management protocol.
💙What’s blue spirulina? Blue Spirulina is 98% Phycocyanin, the antioxidant pigment in spirulina. Packed with protein and high in B vitamins, minerals & trace minerals. Just 5g of blue spirulina includes B1 equal to 7 sardines and B12 equal to 1.5 cups of cheese.
😋 Why feed gelatin? 🔹It’s handy when you don’t have the time to make bone broth. 🔹Skin & Coat health. 🔹Gut health & digestion. 🔹Stimulates collagen production, which is great for joint health. 🔹Improves fat metabolism.🔹It’s a brain protective food.

🔸Combine the gelatin powder and the room temperature water in the glass bowl, mixing well.

🔸Add the berry powder/s you’ve chosen & stir/dissolve.
🔸Pour into the heat-safe glass dish or silicone mould.

🔸Once set, you can cut the gelatin into cubes to be added to your dingo's or dog’s meals or to be given as treat.
⭐️Store cubes in the fridge. Use within 2 weeks.

⚠️Note: Ensure you are using pure gelatin, no flavours, sodium or colours added. Organic and grass-fed is preferable, because gelatin comes from the bones of ruminant animals and bones store concentrated levels of environmental toxins. If you can't source clean, grass-fed bones to make bone broth, then a clean source of pure gelatin is a great alternative to the broth.
