Little tails docked yesterday. All pups gained a good amount of “healing” weight from the procedure.

Fun fact: tails on hunting dogs (yes, our foo foo poodles are indeed hunting dogs 😉) are usually docked for said purposes. Easy to spot in the water and less likely to have an accident while in the depths of it. Although, also a cosmetic surgery. AKC requires all standard poodle show dogs to have docked tails. I’d love to think this very line of poodles could go as far!!!

Introducing our litter of 7! Mama Ruby absolutely blew our minds with her attentiveness and love towards these little critters. One even decided to come out with a heart on each side of its body ❤️

Happy X-ray day!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Our precious Ruby is anticipating the arrival of 7-8 standard poodle puppies! Mom and Dad are both AKC registered. Both with good marks on their OFA’s.

Located in Southeastern Indiana.

I am so excited to see the variety of puppies to come!

Even with poodles you’ll get some extra hair out! one of the most important things about these babes is making sure their hair is free of any knots or mats. Mats can lead to unwanted parasites trapped inside their hair and left to linger into your home 🤢 also they can become super dangerous if they are left untreated, causing bruising and eventually tearing the skin 😳 So, tip of the day if you’re thinking of being a Poodle/Doodle owner, start brushing them at least once a week. And make sure you’re getting it ALL! Especially the hot spots like under the belly and the feet! it’ll be easier every time you do it!

So, I may have made the best $10 purchase on Amazon…I was slightly skeptical because it seemed just simple enough to not really work. I was so wrong! I went with the Large size and that seems to work really well with Ruby’s paws. This thing has been such a lifesaver. I will post the link in the comments. The large is currently marked down 47% :)
