Cooper went to Jubilee Pet Hospital this morning for his last set of puppy 🐶 shots and now he is a free dood! (We are a little late because of life 🙃 these past few weeks but if you haven’t scheduled your 16 week visit be sure to do asap!)

Cooper weighed in at 24lbs 😳 and DJ took him to the pet store after to celebrate his good health by picking out a toy! 🫶🏽💙

Next up is to schedule our first puppy haircut with B’s Mobile Pet Grooming ❤️❤️

Mama Rye is looking 👀 so beautiful after her groom today!

We can’t wait for Cooper to turn 16 weeks and get that last round of shots so he can get his first puppy cut this month!

We love our girl Brittney who has been grooming our pups for years! Today was our first groom with her new Mobile pet grooming shop and it did not disappoint! Thanks B for always treating our babies like your own! 💛

The pups turned 12 weeks on Saturday (don’t forget to make your 12 week vet appointment this week)!

Cooper 🐶had a busy morning, started his day by taking a trip with mama to work to meet the team and bring some paws-itivity 🐾 to the team meeting! Then he went over to see Dr. Purcell for his 12 week vet check and shots. He weighed in at 17lbs 😯 he’s quite the growing boy! 💙

We can’t wait to hear updates on all of his litter mates! 🤍🤍

Happy gotcha day to our red ❤️ collar girl, Claire! 🎉 She made the journey up to Nashville today to meet her family and they are absolutely smitten 🥰!

Such a bittersweet day as she is the last pup to leave the nest 🪺 and close this chapter of Ryelee and Bourbon’s puppy legacy. I feel like 9 pieces of my heart have left along with each pup but I am loving all the updates of our pups thriving in their homes. ❤️🏡

In the soon-to-be-released book, "Raising the Empowered Puppy" we have 3 practical pointers to nurture a strong child-puppy bond.

I dive deeper into the book of many ways to ensure your child and puppy grow up together in a respectful and fun way!

There is no greater gift we can give our child than that of the power of a dog, but it is also our job to guide and teach our children how to interact, care for, and understand what a puppy needs as well.

Happy gotcha day to Black Collar boy now know as Duke! 🎉🖤

He had a wonderful trip up to Birmingham to meet his new mama and family! We couldn’t be happier for him as he is going to one of my very best friends parents (DJ’s Tete) and they are an absolute perfect match. He was hand delivered by my bestie and her beautiful kids & he was named after his late daddy and that truly warmed my heart so much. These last few pups have had me all emotional this weekend. We are down to 2 puppies in the nursery— red collar girl (Claire) ❤️ who will be traveling to Nashville to meet her family soon and gray collar boy (“Teddy”) 🩶 who is still looking for his paw-fect family! Our boy, Cooper, definitely doesn’t mind the extra company! 🖤🐾

Happy gotcha day to Cece! 🎉💜

Let me dry my eyes as I try to explain how sweet it is for this puppy 🐶 to be with this family.

First, this was my first time being a part of a puppy surprise 🎉 and that was oh so special! The kids didn’t know they were getting a puppy and that was so fun!

Purple girl, now known as Cecelia “Cece” is very special to me. She was 1 of 2 parti colored puppies 🐶 born in this litter and the one that looks the most like her daddy, Bourbon, whom we miss so much. I knew she needed to go to a special family, one that would appreciate her and treasure the link to her daddy.

Patricia, has worked with me and Bourbon for the past 5 years and loved him so much. When she and her husband expressed interest in purple girl (who I was calling BB) my heart 💜 rejoiced knowing she would be in an amazing family. Seeing their daughters’s face light 💡 up when she found out was priceless and I will treasure being a part of this forever!

His mama couldn’t wait to pick him up tonight and get him home 🏡! We have no doubt of the joy he will bring to their household and best news is they are family and we will get a front row seat to his growth!
It has/ continues to be so special to see so many of Bourbon’s last puppies go home to families that loved and cherished our boy so much! 💚🐾
