Across the Rainbow Bridge
Beneath a sky where rainbows gleam,
Beyond the edge of time and dream,
A meadow waits, serene and wide,
Where gentle souls in peace abide.
With flowing manes and hooves of light,
They gallop free in endless flight,
No reins to bind, no weight to bear,
Just joy and wind and open air.
They grazed beside us, strong and true,
With hearts of gold, they saw us through.
Now softly in the twilight's glow,
They wait for us — they somehow know.
Each whinny echoes through the breeze,
Like lullabies among the trees.
They nuzzle stars, they chase the moon,
And promise we shall meet them soon.
So when your heart feels grief and pain,
Remember through the gentle rain,
A horse you loved runs wild and free —
Across the bridge, they wait for thee.
