So precious! One of the four week old blue point babies.
I want to take a moment and thank the ER nurses and staff at Carteret General for their compassion, concern and care. My new friend from Texas, I’ve got something special for you, DM me. To the CNAs on the surgical floor, many thanks to all of you as well for your genuine concern, kindness and attentiveness. Night staff, you were all amazing. I tried to thank all of you individually, but if I missed anyone, I hope my Texas sis will point you in this direction. Keep up the tireless work, you are so appreciated! 💜

This is Morgana, affectionately called “Little Mama.” The smaller blue kittens are hers, but she’s happy to nurse the older litter as well. The white kittens are two months older and they’ve been weaned by their mama, Angelica, and have been eating solid food for a while. But who doesn’t love extra cuddles and some babying every once in a while? I’ve got a one year old who still tries to get away with it when he can!

Now for the girls! This little precious one is just a handful of fluff. I promise I’m not holding her around the neck! My thumb is just under her chin because she’s too little to hold her head up well. Just look at those little tiny claws! She needs to go get her nails done already! New tiny ones! Angelica has an absolutely adorable litter of four precious Ragdoll kittens! Two boys and two girls this time! It’s the first time we’ve had more than one girl in a litter. We’re so excited! This is a white male. I’m not sure if that tiny spot on his nose will stay or not, but I couldn’t wash it off. All of them have some marking on their nose. His is the smallest. More pics of the others to come!

What a way to start the day! Five kitties snuggled up on my neck and chest, and piled on top of each other. I numbered them so you can see them better. Number one is just barely visible on the left. (My arm wasn’t quite long enough to get all of him.)

These are the moments I treasure. The warmth, the purrs, the silky fur and the absolute, unconditional love is one of the most amazing and peaceful feelings.

Now, if only I can remember this feeling when they tear through the room at 2:30 am, using me as a springboard to get back and forth to the other side of the room. Cat tree, pounce on me, leap to opposite side of the room cat tree, right back in my stomach (I am not a trampoline! Ugh I need to get rid of this Covid weight!), back to the first cat tree, in order to jump to the window to climb the curtain. I just sigh when the curtain rods fall to the floor.

I love them. Even when they’re sure it’s playtime in the middle of the night. Oh, to be young again!

Sleepy time cuddles with one of the kittens. He has always slept against my face like this from the time he could get out of the playpen and onto my bed. There’s nothing better than feeling his tiny breaths on my cheek and his purrs against my chest. Every kitten is special, but this little guy just melts me.

Meet our new future breeding king, King Arthur! He’s a gorgeous lilac Ragdoll kitten. He’s 16 weeks old, weighs 2 1/2 lbs (1.134 kilos) and has already stolen our hearts. He’s so sweet and we feel so blessed to have him. No filters of any kind are ever used on our photos, so that’s his actual eye color! Couldn’t you just get lost in those baby blues?

One of our four week old Ragdoll kittens using @thelitterrobot independently! We get so excited when they first start using them on their own. We always have a regular litter box available as well starting about three weeks, but once they discover @thelitterrobot they always use them over the regular cat pans! It’s so much better for their health, and with so many kittens and cats, it makes our life so much easier! We’ve found it uses a lot less cat litter as well, and that alone makes it worth the investment. Not to mention it’s so much less work! This is our little Pink girl who loves to play fetch. Her favorite toy is a blue crinkly raccoon but apparently he’s taking the day off today so Mr. Squirrel is standing in for playtime. It’s one of my personal favorite toys because it’s simply adorable! He’s the perfect size for fetch, and has catnip inside his little Velcro pouch. I’m having a migraine today and am sitting in the dark playing with the kittens and cuddling with them.
