Off weekends are dedicated to my dogs. Things are a bit slower and easier since downsizing and Sundays are usually wash and cleaning days so this gives me time to get each one out individually and spend some quality time. I took Luna into town with me today so Lobo got to run the yard a bit. Getting his legs going heavy at least once a week is important to him being well rounded. He has a lot more “game”in him so I love these times where we get to wrestle around a bit. Follow us on all platforms for more‼️

I was spitting facts in this one. Not everyone is dog people. I like knowing my dogs are well behaved enough for non-dog people to tolerate! Non-dog folks need love too! 😂😂

I was having a conversation with someone I had previously sold a dog to (Lobo litter mate). We were talking about how much trouble we had trying to clip our dogs nails. He mentioned not even being able to touch the nails, he just let the vet do it. Well when I took Lobo to the vet to get it done the first time it didn’t turn out well (and he’s a pretty powerful guy) so they suggested drugs to relax him to be taken 12 hours before his scheduled visit. Then when we returned for his next visit, they end up muzzling and coning him anyways in order to cut his nails. Why would I pay y’all for the prescription, e-collar, visit ($75), and clippings totaling north of $200 when I could do what y’all did…. So I did!! This is how me and Lobo have been doing his nails for some time now. I groom all my dogs and some react totally different to different stimuli. This boy is a hassle when it comes to grooming those nails. But we get it done every time. 🥰😍
To you animal activist out there:
1. YES…. This isn’t comfortable for him
2. YES…. He is under stress and discomfort
3. YES…. He trusts me
4. YES…. Accidents happen
5. YES…. It’s very important to work through these interactions with your animal. This is something Lobo is going to get more and more used to, but will never fully relax. It becomes normalized and expected, making the process slightly easier.
1. NO…. I am not hurting him
2. NO…. I am not forceful
3. NO…. I am not taking him to the vet for them to do what I just did. lol.

Flashback to last year’s camp season when we travelled with 4 dogs all season long. Every weekend a different city and hotel with 4 dogs. 🤦🏾‍♂️ it was tough but they are well trained enough to make every city a little less stressfull.
We are definitely looking for a dog sitter for this year though! 😂

Let’s just take a second to admire Lobo. In my opinion he damn near perfect when it comes to structure, health and drive. Got some things to work on as far as temperament and training but who doesn’t? my boy is ideally THE REAL DEAL‼️ and he is open for stud‼️ currently sits between 67-75lbs. He just hits the height to take him out of the pocket class and sit him at the bottom of the classic group. Carrying all that old school blood (Dax/Miagi) you can’t miss with this boy!!
