Meet Nubs, she is as sweet as a candied pecan! She loves playing with her siblings, but loves human interaction even more! When she needs a little rest break from playing, her favorite spot for reprieve is laying next to me. If I’m sitting in a chair, you’ll find her under it. She’s playful and energetic, but not over the top. Nubs is what I call anti-extra, which also makes her very extra.
“Oh, I’m just laying here, watching the squirrels”
“Oh look, a flower”
“Ah well, while they all chase the big man to play with them, I’m just going to sit here and look cute”
“A puppy face is how I dominate the cuddles”
Nubs is working hard at ensuring a successful career as a lap dog!

Meet Lavender, is she a lilac? Is she a fawn? She’s what I consider a lilac fawn, depending on the light, she looks much more lilac. Not only is her coloring one of a kind compared to her siblings, her personality is as well! Lavender is full of energy and prefers to be the leader of the pack. She holds her own with the adults playing, and shows her sweet side with her love of cuddling. Her favorite activities are running, sniffing, exploring, and cuddle naps. She’s what you call sweet and sassy!
Commonly we try to animate what we believe goes through their heads… With Lavender, the consensus is this:
“You called me, that’s fascinating”
“Will I come when you call, sure”
“Will I take a longer route and make you question me coming, absolutely”
“Human, I heard you, I’m coming, I’m just going to make you appreciate it when I do”
“Settle down, no need to call me again, I’m sniffing currently and I’ll be there in a moment”
“Unless you have a treat, then we can reconsider and resume negotiations on my promptness”
