We have another rattlesnake aversion, training clinic coming up with reminder we’re in Southern California and snakes are constantly present. We are recommending doing rattlesnake, avoidance every six months to keep your dog consistent. We will be in Cherry Valley this time

**The Dog Kennel at Enlighten Dogs Beaumont**

We made it through the 4th of July great! All our dogs were kept calm and happy thanks to the mellow white noise of the soothing music, and fans. The freeway we are near help ed a lot and our big first block building.

*Enlighten Dogs Safety Tips: Keeping Your Dog Safe on the Fourth of July* does that mean

As the Fourth of July approaches, we want to share some essential safety tips to keep your dog safe during and around the celebrations. As a professional dog trainer and over 8 years volunteering with animal control officer during the night of 4th July, seen many preventable accidents. Here are 10 tips to help you keep your dog safe:

*1. Proper Fencing*
Ensure your fence is secure and consider a strong under-barrier to prevent digging.

*2. Tire Them Out*
Exercise your dog thoroughly during the day to reduce their energy levels at night.

*3. Keep Them Inside*
Leave your dog inside in a safe room, away from windows and sliding glass doors.

*4. White Noise*
Use loud music, TV, or white noise to drown out fireworks sounds. Reggae and classical music can be calming for dogs!

*5. Reduce Vibrations*
Leave a fan or AC on to minimize vibrations from fireworks.

*6. Calming Aids*
Consider thunder jackets, calming sprays, or holistic remedies to help your dog relax.

*7. Stay Home*
If possible, stay home with your pet to keep them safe and calm.

*8. Be Prepared*
Even experienced dogs can get spooked, so set them up for success with music, lights, and a safe space.

*9. Minimize Stimulation*
Leave lights on and reduce noise and vibrations to create a comfortable environment.

*10. Set Them Up for Success*
Prioritize your dog’s safety and comfort, and always better safe than sorry!

Remember, cats can also get fearful, so keep them indoors too!
