These cute 6 month old mini Alpine/LaMancha doelings are looking for new pasture.
Mom, full LaMancha, has been a great 1st time milker. Sire is mini Alpine with amazing lines.

Missing a picture of Libby with her new family, but here are the other 3 puppies that went to their new families a couple weeks ago. Great reports back so far from everyone! Sure miss them, but so glad they have their own families to love on them.

Any local peeps that have beef cows going to have any beef available in the spring. Our beef from our cows is almost gone. Boohoo! Prefer grass finished beef. Want to get on a list for spring. No room in freezer currently. Picture of our young Dexter's just for fun.

Puppies are 16 days old now and little chunkers! More then double their siblings from the previous litter at the same age. Only 4 to feed instead of 10 makes a huge difference.

Ari had 4 puppies last Friday! Our phones haven't been letting us post in the farm page. Darn FB really wants us to download the app 🙄.

Everyone is doing awesome! We are raising this litter with the Puppy Culture program and we are super excited about it!

Currently all 4 puppies are spoken for, but we can add you to a backup waiting list or point you to other breeders in the area.

We are so excited to announce that Ari will be having her 3rd and final litter at the end of the month! She is bred to DogJOakes First Pilgrim, and we are impatiently waiting for these puppies to be here!

Ron has been such a great guardian for us this last year, we decided to get him an apprentice! Meet Ron's niece, April! She is a little spunky, spitfire who as been a lot of fun so far! We are excited for Ron to have a partner, but first he needs to train her!

We had 2 broody hens that didn't end up hatching any eggs, so we put them in with the 50 meat chicks! We also have the heat plates in there to help keep that many babies warm!

I love that we have a great hatchery so close that I can run down and pick up our chicks on hatch day! They stayed the night with me in Keizer and are going to be in their brooder this afternoon! -Kara

Need to get better pictures still, but here are the new additions to the farm! Cascade Meadows grows some really great Dexters! Excited to have the pair as a part of the farm.
The girls name will be Cascade's Gretl
The boy needs a name still since the one we choose, Chester, is already taken. 😏
Any name ideas for the young bull?

Working on the site for a new orchard and berry patch! 🍒🍎🍑🍐🍇🍓🥝 This area hasn't had animals on it for a few years and since it's at the top of the hill it gets some of the best sun. It's taking us hours of tractor work to clear all the large rock, but we are close to done now!

Our Story

We are a small homestead in Beavercreek Oregon. We started out raising goats while the oldest daughters were in 4-H through high school. Now as the years have gone on we have raised goats, ducks, chickens, cows, pigs, turkeys and miniature horses. 3 years ago we added an English Shepherd dog to the farm and we have fallen in love with the breed and are now breeding for great homestead, family dogs and therapy dogs.
