Happy birthday to Stella’s first litter! All nine of these babies are turning 1: Huckleberry, Sandy, Gus, Arya, Scout, Willow, Duke, Pippy, and Daisy 😍

Going from delivering 11 puppies, raising them, to delivering my own baby boy a few short weeks later; will always be an experience I’ll never forget. There was definitely some added challenges to taking care of a puppy litter during my third trimester (squatting a minimum of 44 times a day to pick up puppy p**p, good bye back 😂). Thankfully my little boy waited to make his debut a full 10 days after the last puppy went to its forever home! I always say meeting and getting to connect with the puppy’s new families, is one of the best of the best parts of breeding. It was such a blessing to be able to finish that journey with each family before a newborn.

My c-section was a little more complicated this time around and I received all of the heavy duty pain meds and drugs. In this wonderful state of mind and quite drugged I thought the doctor operating on me would love to hear about my fellow dog birth stories. Pulling out the second puppy and having to go elbows deep due to a stalled labor with mom dog as well as tying a bleeding cord, seemed like great chit chat as they pulled my little boy out 🤷‍♀️🤪

All in all I just want to thank each puppy family for this great experience from last litter and this litter! I’ve loved getting to meet you guys and hear any puppy updates.

Big brother got to meet his siblings for the first time today! It’s probably nice to know what’s making all that noise every time mom leaves the room 😂

We have puppies!!!! After a miscalculated due date, a tense time waiting for puppy 2 to make its debut, and one cord I needed to tie manually; Stella delivered 11 beautiful babies! It was a very long night but so worth it.

When you and your dog have an ultrasound in the same month 🤪
The good news is momma dog is 100% pregnant and we are the count down until puppies will arrive. Only 27 days to go! I wish I could say the same about my due date, but then again I’m not predicted to have 11 babies 😳
I don’t do deposits until pups are 3 weeks and people can come pick them out in person or through video call depending on location. So that being said I think most of my girls are spoken for, but I don’t know for sure.

After the amazing experience we had with Stella’s last litter, the plan was always to breed her again, unless something crazy happened. Like let’s say, I unexpectedly got pregnant…
Fast forward a bit to October and I was pregnant. Life right 😂 so I made the appointment for momma to be fixed January 31st. Whelp January 23rd Stella goes into heat. Long story short, momma dog and I are both expecting this year 😂 dogs have blissfully short preganncies though, and she will be due around March 27th and pups ready to home around May 22nd. So, if you know anyone interested in a new fur baby please let me know!

Thank you everyone for all of the pictures of your pups growing! The past week we went to hocking hills. If anyone is wondering if it’s too soon to do some serious hiking with their dog, I’d say go for it! Unless… you also have a 2 year old and a 4 year old 😂 it’s amazing how popular you become anywhere you go with a puppy in tow!
