Y'all, my head is shakin' and my eyes are rollin'...hard. I'm going to put yet another blurb in my contract because the DNA tests like Basepaws and Wisdom, etc who offer BREED dna are BOGUS. They are fun and HIGHLY INACCURATE and I'm tired of seeing good breeders get bashed because Susie from Arkansas' Maine C**n came back at 73% MC and not 100% and based on that she paid for a mutt and wants her money back. Nope.
1. Most all "breeds" are man made. So that Ragdoll is most likely going to show you Ragdoll, Persian, Birman, Burmese, etc, in who knows what percentages.
2. The databases are in their infancy. They don't have enough data to say what breed is what. As they gather more, the testing MIGHT become a little more accurate.
3. The dna tests ARE 99% accurate for health and color genetics, so go for it, but only for those.

The babies had their first vet visit today. The vet said they look great and everyone is healthy. They’re all 1.75+ pounds and didn’t make a peep when they got their shot. 💕
Only 3 or 4 more weeks until they’re ready to go home!

I feel like it’s time to post this again.
Inflation has hit everyone hard, especially us. Vet costs have doubled, food and cat litter have tripled. Being a reputable breeder isn’t cheap. We aren’t in this for the money. We don’t pocket every dollar we get. Raising kittens is a lot of work and can be incredibly hard on the wallet.
We love our babies and hope to bring so much joy to your lives. Seeing your smiling faces is why we do it.💕

I realize to a lot of people, our prices may seem outrageous and they may think that we’re only in it for the money. You’d be surprised to learn that we’re lucky if we break even.
Please know that so much time, love and money goes in to raising our babies. And not just them, the parents too. We have the parents tested to make sure they’re genetically healthy. We keep them on flea treatment year round (plus our dogs). We keep them on expensive food, that’s good for their skin, coat, and digestive systems. They’re kept up to date with their vet visits.
We keep them until they’re ready to go home. Most of the time that’s at 12 weeks, but sometimes that’s 16 weeks or even later. We want to make sure your kitten is well socialized and will acclimate to its surroundings.
We offer lifetime support for you and your babies.
It’s not cheap. It never has been, and it never will be. We do it because we love this breed and want to spread the joy it bring us to all of you. 💕

This is good information. Our prices are actually on the low end of the spectrum.
All kittens are the same price. We do not charge more for show quality, or more for male vs female or even different pattern types.
Please do research though if you’re thinking of purchasing a kitten from someone.
I am always happy to send pictures, videos, whatever you’d like to show that we are legit and our babies are well cared for and loved. 💕
