Avaley is very thankful to be spending this holiday season in a warm and loving foster home, but what this girl really deserves is a forever family to love and cherish her for all of her days. Found as a stray in SC, she had the Chicklet litter a few days after coming to PA. She is extremely shy and timid at first, but after some yummy treats and a little bit of patience, she will be your best friend forever! She would do best in a calm household without young children since she takes some time to warm up and be comfortable and is scared of sudden movements. Once she does get comfortable, she is full of joy and zest, has energy to burn, loves doing zoomies in the yard and is the funniest little girl!

Avaley has begun her heartworm treatment protocol and will be spayed when she has finished. Due to her HW status, she hasn’t played with dogs other than her own pups but she has been fine with dogs in passing. She does not like cats. She has some separation anxiety but has been doing so much better with this as compared to when she initially arrived.

Avaley is house trained, knows sit and paw, walks nicely on a leash, and loves to sit in her person’s lap and give tiny little kisses! Avaley is most content hanging out on the furniture and playing with crinkles, stuffies, and Benebones.

It’s been 2 weeks officially since Reeves was returned to the rescue. Those who know him know his story - his dad passed away leaving him scared, grief stricken, and not very approachable. His foster mom who had him when he was born was able to take him back in, and he has since slowly been thriving!

He has had huge break throughs this week including being able to be walked on leash outdoors, giving his mom kisses, and even playing fetch! He is a playful boy and those characteristics are shining through. While we have had such sad news lately, we are grateful for the little moments when scared dogs start to open up and show their true selves.

There are times we have dogs whose 1 picture causes an overflow of applications. So many that we have to "close" the applications in order to start processing them.

That isn't the case for this girl.

Patricia has been with us for much longer than we expected. Much longer than she deserves. She is certainly loved and well cared for by her foster mom, but that was meant to be a temporary stop in her journey.

This sweet girl is around 5 years old. She is shy when meeting new people, but when she knows your arms are safe to fall into, she will. She will become your most loyal gal pal. She would prefer a home with no cats and does ok with low energy dogs.

Please help us share Patricia. She is just as deserving of a forever home.
