We had a great time this weekend at the Diamond State Quad Show!
There was so many amazing goats and got to meet with great people and see some familiar faces.

Blue Valley Acres C Boy Oakley - received 2nd place in all 4 rings (0-3m) jr buckling

Kidd’n Kanyun WG Prom Girl - made the top 10 in all 4 rings (2 year old milker)

Cadron Hill BV Magpie- received 3rd in all 4 rings (1 year old milker)

Kidd’n Kanyun GW Cameo- huge class of 25 does.
Made top 10 in 3 of 4 rings (12-18m Junior doe)

So glad we were able to get this new section of the pasture fenced off for the goats to rotate on!
The girls got to try it first yesterday and today the boys are testing it out.

Some photos from the weekend. We only took three goats. 1 buck and 2 junior does.
Some placements I’m not 100% as we didn’t get ribbons every time as they were trying to move quickly but here is what I believe we got.

Covid-19 1yr buck- 5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd (seemed we starting setting up better each ring we went into.

I Do For You 6-12m jr doe- 4th, 3rd, 3rd, and 2nd which I’m proud as she is heavily bred so made it harder to see fully her confirmation

Prom Girl- 5th, 2nd & Reserve Grand Champion, 4th, and 3rd.

My daughter Peyton switched back and forth on showing and she did great! Just super proud to have completed our first show ever!

Our girl Kidd’n Kanyun Prom girl (aka buttercup) received Reserve Grand Champion in the 12-18 month Junior class tonight. We couldn’t be more proud.
Tomorrow I will get better pictures and let you know how the other two did!

So excited to see what babies will drop from these two. Fingers crossed they take for their first kidding. Buck is the roan (Corona) Blondie is a doe (Pinneapple) and the other is the first doe for this farm named (Buttercup) and yes she is as sweet as the name implies.
