S&M Boas LLC

S&M Boas LLC Specializing in breeding some of the best designer boa morphs in Maryland As most reptile lovers know, you can never own just one. If we fast forward to today.

When I was 15 I got my very first snake and my love for serpents just took off from there. Soon I was up to 15 and started breeding my first corn snakes at the age of 16. As time went on, I grew very fond of the much larger breeds snakes. I fell in love with boas and Burmese pythons. When I turned 17 I purchased my first albino burm for my birthday. By the age of 20 I was already producing my very

own albino burms. With the lacy act took place my burm breeding days have stopped. So my enthusiasm and love for big snakes really expanded to boas which become my main focus. Everyday I am interested in expanding my current stock and exploring new and exciting morphs. I still keep a few Burmese in my back pocket as I truly love the nature and temperament of them. Since I am a full time airline pilot, the animals and business turned into a family business. Everyone, including our kids help out with maintaining the animals and keeping them socialized. That way every animal we sell is as docile and handleable as possible given the age of the animal. We accept paypal, credit and cash for local pickup. On shipments we use ship your reptiles and buyer pays actual shipping cost, we do not charge a boxing fee. We offer a 7 day live arrival and health guarantee. As a small time breeder, I know money can be tight sometimes when you want something right now. So we do offer payment plans up to 90 days for animals below $1,000 and 120 days for animals over $1,000 with a 10% non refundable deposit paid up front. After that, the buyer is required to pay a minimum of 10% per month of the balance owed. Each payment is due by the 15th of each month, until the animal is fully paid for. At the end of the payment plan, the full remaining amount must be paid in full by the deadline date. All deposits and payments are NON REFUNDABLE if the buyer backs out. All animals must be paid in full before shipping or pickup is allowed.

Finally started getting our morph market updated with new babies and some wicked good deals on IMG’s and even a couple adults. This is by far the lowest I’ve ever priced an IMG before so take advantage while our sale is still on through the end of the weekend. We still have 12-14 more babies that need to be fully photographed and added. So if you’re looking for something in particular let us know. We have something to fit everyone’s budget.

We had a bunch of new babies shed over the last two days. Today I couldn’t help but snap a few pics while checking to see who ate, which all of them did.
We’re very excited to see how some of these IMG and purple babies will color up over time. A couple of the Motley RLT’s are some of the darkest Motleys we have ever produced that weren’t Anery or IMG. Two have what I call a very diffused look.

Parings on these were:
Paraglow 100% het Anery x Hypo Jungle IMG 100% het Purple Sharp

RLT 100% het Groovy Coral x Groovy Coral Sunglow Motley Jungle RLT. (Only the Motleys are from this pairing)

Just started updating our morph market page the last two days for the start of baby season. Many more listings to come soon, including more adults. But stop by our store and check out all the crazy good deals I have running right now on yearlings as well as a couple adults. By far the lowest prices you’ll find for IMG’s. Currently all animals listed are 50% off their normal price. Sale runs through June 15th. So stop by snag one of them while you can. Sale prices are firm but payment plans are welcome.

First two litters of the season dropped on the same day. First one wasn’t as good as we had hoped. Only 7 babies and 8 slugs. Ended up with 3 super Roswell motleys, the rest are Motley RLT’s. I’ve never seen or had a litter where every single baby came out motley when only the father was Motley. Pairing was an RLT 100% het Groovy Coral Kahl x Hypo Motley RLT 100% het Groovy Coral (both parents came from Boa Morph, he has a explanation on his website on the entire the groovy coral line, visit boamorph.com)

Second litter was perfect, 28 healthy babies and zero slugs. Pairing was a Hypo Jungle IMG 100% het Purple Sharp x Purple Paraglow 100% het Anery. Ended up with 16 IMG’s with a couple of them being gorgeous purples including the darkest albino IMG I’ve ever produced. We also scored with a killer paradox, it’s the first full body paradox I’ve ever made, (it’s staying here). More pics to follow as soon as they all shed.

For anyone that knows Brian, learned from him or gained anything from all he’s done over the years for the reptile community. Should really take a moment out of their day to comment on this video to bid him a farewell, share a story or send their condolences. Brian and his family will be reading all the comments and sharing the stories with him through these final hard days. This one really hurts as I’ve learned a lot from him over the last 17years that I’ve known him.

Goodbye is not the end, but the start of a new beginning. We love you, Brian. Subscribe To My Linktree: https://linktr.ee/brianbarczykBecome A Y...

I think it’s time we do another give away, who’s in? If we can reach 3,500 followers by Christmas we will do another boa giveaway away. We have done it a couple times already in the past and all winners were super happy with what they received. All you have to do is pay for shipping if your the one chosen at random on a live video. I’m thinking this time rather than it being just one single animal up for grabs, we give 3 to choose from genetics wise and either s*x, what do you guys think? I’m thinking something in $300-$400 range. Comment, like or share to give us your opinions. No money involved so NOTHING is being sold. Just simply given away to one lucky person.

I’m asked all the time what’s the proper feeding schedule for boas? I always tell customers and colleagues that I feed babies once a week until they reach a year old. After that, anything over a year old until they hit about 3yrs old, I feed every 14-21 days. Adults eat once every 3weeks or so. Now folks ask all the time how do I determine what to feed every two weeks vs every three weeks? I always say it depends on the animal. How does it look? Is it growing faster than it should? Is it becoming obese? Is it digesting It’s food properly? All these factors play into how I choose what to feed and how often. Every snake is different and there really is no perfect feeding schedule, you just need to use your own judgement. This picture is a prime example of how differently boas grow. These two boas are sisters and were fed on the same exact schedule over the last three years and It’s almost shocking the size difference between the two.

Hey folks, we are offering up 8 brand new, not even assembled Boa Master 4ft x 2ft x13” black PVC cages we no longer need. I bought them in bulk a while back, unfortunately we no longer need them, so we’re cutting them loose. I’m selling them for exactly what I paid which was at wholesale prices. They are all still wrapped in plastic and unassembled for easy transport.

I did however assemble one cage this evening as I’ve been asked by many to see what they look like. The cage pictured was lightly assembled, meaning only minimal screws were used to build it for photo purposes only. It has since been disassembled and wrapped back up in plastic to protect it. All of the plastic film is still adhered to both sides of the PVC, that’s why it looks the way it does in the photos. Any blemishes you see pictured is just the dust and debris from the PVC and a plastic wrap itself.
They are 100% brand new and come with all hardware to assemble them. Building one only takes 10-15 minutes and most of that time is spent removing all of the plastic film protecting the PVC itself. I’m willing to deliver within 100 miles of Bel Air, Maryland for a $100 fee to cover gas and tolls, or local pickup in Bel Air, MD is welcome. I can also deliver them to any local reptile show as well.

**Price is $235 each**
If you would like to add belly heat I can install 12” THG heat tape in 12” x 24” strips for $20 per cage or $15
If you want to install it yourself. You can’t even buy these cages right now because Mark at Boa Masters is in the process of relocating his facility. So beat the long lead times from everyone else and come snag these as early as tomorrow.

Please don’t ask location, price, or if they are still available, you will be ignored. If this ad is up they are available. Also do not ask us to PM you. If you want them, you must contact us!

But also thinking about about doing a holiday raffle for this Possible Super Moonglow female.
Thinking $25 per ticket/slot and offering up 35 slots. Or kicking it up a notch and doing it for this Hypo IMG Jungle parahet 50% het anery female. Winner would pay $60 flat rate shipping. Comment if your interested and for what animal, if I get enough interest, I’ll make the drawing happen on Labor Day with a Facebook live drawing video.

We are letting go of one 4ft freedom breeder that’s six levels high. Works perfectly fine and of course comes with all the heat panels. Asking $1500 picked up in Bel Air, Maryland. Can deliver within a two hour drive for a fee. The price is firm and not interested in any trades. PM us with any questions, don’t ask us to contact you, you will be ignored.
The rack for sale is the one on the far left in the photos. We will also be cutting loose a 6ft freedom breeder in the next week or two that is shown in the second photo on the far right for $2000. Both racks are the older freedom breeders but the 6ft has the second generation tubs with the metal support beams, not the original PVC support beam. Both work perfectly, we’re just going back to PVC cages now that we have successfully downsized our collection to a more manageable size given my job.

Many have been asking about the babies from our most recent IMG Purple Sharp/BWC litter. Well here’s some pics of the first of the babies to have had their very first shed. Some are completely out of this world as far as inheriting the euro purple gene. Unfortunately, from what I can tell right now, only 8-9 babies out of the 35 born are true purples. Tyler Johnson at Chroma Constrictors would agree with this ratio. Even though an animal is bred to a pure purple sharp doesn’t mean you can label the whole litter as purple. Same goes with Coral in Kahl line animals. One thing we hit out of park was the IMG to normal ratio. We ended up with 21 IMG’s out of 35.

I always love it when babies that are born with large unabsorbed yoke sacs pull through. Both of these little slightly premature babies absorbed 90% of their large yoke sacs over the last 72hrs. They are now detached from their umbilical and are doing great. Both are very active, alert and strong so they will most certainly go on to live very healthy lives.

One is a normal IMG 100% het BWC 50% het sharp/Anery, the other is a pos Super Hypo Jungle IMG 100% het BWC 50% het Sharp/Anery.
They will now be placed into one of the tubs their litter mates are in that’s filled with damp moss until they have their first shed. The dry wrinkly skin you see here is the birth skin drying out. This is why I keep my newborns on damp moss until they have their first shed. It holds water extremely well to keep the humidity high in order to help assist their very first shed. After a day or two of them being put on moss their skin will rehydrate and won’t look dry like it does now.

A very pretty litter just dropped for us today. Pairing was a Paraglow 100% het Anery x Hypo Jungle IMG 100% het purple sharp (Tyler Johnson production)
35 live, 0 stills and one slug. Awesome litter for this first time mom and dad. There’s paradigm IMG’s, Paraglow IMG’s , sharp albino IMG’s and Sunglow IMG’s all mixed with jungle as well.

Nothing is harder than finding a first time mom you’ve raised since 2017 passed away just 10 days before her due date. She was a Lipstick Sunglow Jungle I bought from Peter Messri at Motion Reptiles back in spring of 2017. She was bred this year to a Ghost IMG 100% het Kahl. This one hit me hard as I raised this girl slow and steady for the last 6yrs only to loose her the very first time she was bred. Cause of death looked to be canserous cells that completely encased both her ovaries. She was carrying 13 babies and 3 slugs. Attached is her baby picture from when I first bought her. Rest in peace momma, you will be surely missed!
