What a great three weeks for the Onwards team! I couldn’t be more proud of these horses or clients. Everyone saw massive improvements and all took home ribbons 🤩
Some show highlights:
Morgan Fesler and S.R. Croacia
-Winning the THIS medal week 2
-Winning the over fences in the Children’s Hunters week 1
-2nd in the $1500 hunter classic week 1
- Reserve Champion week 1 of the Childrens Hunters
-9th in her first Jr/Am National Derby week 3
Mckell Giese and Romancero LS
-Winning the .95 open week 2
-Winning the 1m open week 3
-Jumping the open water in the international ring (I think she was the only one to even attempt the option!)
-Reserve Champion in the Open Meters
Belle Barkman and Our Little Secret
- blue ribbon rounds in the .75
-moved up to thee .85 and mastered her stride
-8th in the .75 open
-8th in the .85 non pro
Leah Dobby and Guerrero
-Winning the .85 non pro week 3
-4th in the .85 non pro week 2
-3rd in the .85 open
-riding accurately and consciously every day week 3!
Joy Luck TF
-3rd in the .95 open week 2
-3rd in the 1m open week 3
- Learned all the things about horse shows
- Became a master at in and outs ✅
-Had me smiling every round as she learned to use herself in the air.
I was also honored to help Stella this weekend rock the hunters and Eq.
-5th in thee Hamal
-2nd in the CHJA jr medal
-2nd in the M&S Jump seat.
We are so lucky to do this sport and have the opportunity to step foot in the ring, every round is a good round in the sense that we are fortunate enough to get to do what we love. Thanks to Kristine Hardwick and Stella Dalton for the help when things got hectic and all the support as well, and as always to my beautiful wife Sara Shaffer for holding down the fort.
