Not every trip off site for training includes perfectly executed commands on the first try. However, long term success is built off of consistency and follow through. Here we see Zeke a little overwhelmed with the distractions at first, but after sticking with it, he successfully completes a down stay while a stranger passes by pushing a cart. 🐾
Merry Christmas (or however you say it) from our family to yours! 🎄🐾🐶
Ecollar training isn’t for everyone… but it in most cases, it can certainly change a life! ▪️ Freya here is enjoying her first trip off leash in a completely new place (the middle of our town). She is 4 years old, was very set in her ways and has only been with us for about a week and half. Ecollar training has given her a freedom she didn’t previously know without a fence. 🐾 The right tools for the right dog can make all the difference! Thank you E-Collar Technologies for such an awesome product line 🫶🏼
Lots of wiggling over here on this Monday! 🐾
Check out some clips from Jack & Sandy ‘s time with us! 🐾
Every dog has a different personality and so does every owner. What works for one may not work for another. Thankfully there are many training methods and training tools at our disposal.
Jack and Sandy were terrible pullers when they began the program. Here you’ll see them using prong collars to assist their learning. You’ll also see that by the end of the second week, Sandy was able to lose the prong collar where as Jack was not. This is why our job extends past the two week mark as trainers and owners. Jack needs continued work in order to completely lose the prong collar and successfully “heel” without pulling.
Thanks to the hard working owners of these two and our commitment to help them succeed, Jack and Sandy can continue to learn at home will only get better.
Always remember that training your dog and building your bond is a life long commitment. It can be kick started with a board and train program or private sessions but there will always be work to do.
Can’t wait to see where these two go from here! 🤍

The reason off leash and remote collar training is such an important component of training your dog is that it creates 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒐𝒎. Freedom for the dog from confinement and freedom for the owner from anxiety, fear and worry. Establishing boundaries and teaching your dog how to respect those boundaries frees everyone involved. Becoming off leash reliable through tools like a remote collar results in such much joy! Just look at these pups 🐶

Jewel earned off leash privileges and a trip to the river! 🙌🏼🎾
.
With Jewel we added structure into her life through commands (such as “come”) and set some boundaries. From there, through consistency and repetition, she became more and more reliable off leash. She proved understanding of commands and that she could be trusted in higher distractions. This is a great example of how training can build trust and a relationship with your dog that allows you to do more fun activities 🤍
Maggie showing off her reliability off-leash! Even with construction next door she’s able to go walking leash free 🙌🏼🐾🐶
We are back home and slowly easing into reality! 🐾🐶
When you have a worry wart who’s extremely active on our hands, you mix in serious lessons with upbeat, positive and playful lessons. 🐾 It’s important to keep a busy mind going! There’s no time for dwelling and getting stuck in fear or worry. Just keep going. 🐶
Slick is extremely food driven and eats fast. So what do we do? We use his favorite motivator (food) as a way to teach him to slow down and listen to commands. Good things come to those who wait 🐶

Mick came to visit again this week! 🐾🐶
.
Mick is tasked with balancing appropriate behavior both in the field and in his home with three children. One requires high drive and energy and the other requires patience and manners. However, both environments demand focus. Here you can see him working on cleaning up his retrieving skills and focus.🌟
