Marley's Mutts Dog Rescue

Gordy is home. I want to say I hurt but that wouldn't be correct. Hurt implies negativity and I feel none. I'm going to miss him, that's all. Janet is right for him, though, and I have all of the faith in the world she is going to be the mom he always deserved.
I'm going to miss his cuddles--right up there in your arm pit or neck. I'm going to miss the way he took on each day--with an I CAN attitude and ZERO sympathy for himself. I'm going to miss watching him learn new things. I'm just going to miss him.
Such is the nature of rescue and such is life. We move on to the next challenged; the next life in need. For right now, that life is a beagle named Homer who has been at the shelter for nearly a year. Onward and upward, Mutt Militia!
