“Type” is what makes you look at a corgi and know it’s a corgi… but there’s more, type refers to how closely a dog meets the breed standard. We breed to the AKC standard which states “the head should be foxy in shape and appearance, expression intelligent and interested, not shy” the breed standard goes on to list features about the ears, skull, eyes, nose and more. Our next generation: Barbie “Bellamys Papered not Plastic” she’s just so pretty. Out of Suzi “Merrygolds Dance in Midnight Light” and Tater “Cadenza What Grows Together Stays Together”. Barbie is from our litters last year. She is bold, loving and careful around small children. I think she got the best of both her parents temperaments.

Soon we plan to take a break from puppy raising. This will allow us to focus more on therapy work and trick dog titles.
But also we recognize we would like another keeper from these dogs we love dearly before retiring them. Our dogs don’t have just one puppy(generally speaking) this results in wonderful pets looking for homes.

As we think about a litter this spring in a tough economy, I would like to know what do you feel is a fair price for a “well bred” dog?
And what does that phrase “well bred” mean to you?
What are your expectations of your puppy and breeder?

Nail day. We’ve kept this routine consistent since Barbie was a few days old, adding treats as she was old enough. It’s not always been pretty 😆 she went through a wiggly stage (looooong one) but now it’s paid off. Nails are peaceful and quick. Our youngest is very much the dog whisperer ❤️

We won’t have puppies again till spring and then not for a long time after that. If you’re looking for a puppy soon…we love this breeder and have met both parents. Super sweet dogs.

We had so much fun in Rapid last weekend. No love for Suzi but we learned a ton. Thank you to the McGowan ladies and Merrygold corgis for your commitment to the breed. We appreciate all they’ve invested in helping us learn each show. Thank you to Delaney for taking Suzi into the ring and Rylee for taking a couple hours to teach us more about grooming. We are thankful for the friendships showing had brought us. ❤️

These corgi earrings sets are $10, we do have a necklace option available as well. Other breed prices vary depending on charm ($8-$15) PM orders as the comment feed sometimes gets confusing. Payment through Venmo or cash pick up. I can ship (shipping extra) I will be with a Rapid City show next week and can meet there as well.

Millie is looking for her family. She’s 5 months old and has been through our board and train program. She’s a great option if you want a puppy but not a young young puppy experience. She’s crate trained, does great in the house when let out regularly. Has some good leash manners, knows sit and is working on stay. She’s looking for a pet home. Has her vaccines completed. Has been around other dogs, a kitten and lots of different types of people. Millie is medium energy and is very submissive. She loves loves loves belly rubs and snuggles. Millie is tender hearted. Her perfect family will be comfortable continuing to help Millie build life long confidence. Her fee reflects the extra time and training we have in her. PM me if your interested

We are fostering this sweet little boy looking for a new family. He’s 18months old. Crate and house trained. Knows basic commands. Working on his leash manners. Great with kids and good with other dogs. He is a Carin Terrier. Hes a great fit for pretty much anyone willing to give him daily exercise and lots of love. Please research the grooming needs of this breed. Let me know if your interested.
