No, unfortunately your groomer can’t just cut your dog’s nails “as short as possible”. There are veins in your dog’s nails and if you allow the nails to become overgrown, the vein in the nail grows with it. When cut, it begins to bleed. It becomes a process to attempt to recede the vein inside the nail once it’s overgrown so please avoid that from happening with regular nail trims! Your dog will thank you 🐶
