Couple more done. Last of the archery and first of the gun. Crazy the similarity in these two racks for not even being from the same county. Not many being finished lately but got alot are ready to go. This month should be a good one.

This is what any taxidermist loves to see. Not only a quality bird that looks like it was scared to death, but one that was taken care of from the minute it was recovered to when i put it on my bench.The best product makes the best products. Keep this in mind when you want any animal mounted.

Here we go! Been awhile since I've posted but havent had anything excitng to post. Here is just the first order of the year with many more to go. I have as many, if not more, ducks already this year than i did all of last year. That being said, I am not taking any more in until at least after the 1st of the year if at all. Deer are slower coming in so I may take a few more in but I am already behind. Life is crazy right now and, unfortunately, they dont make more days in a week or more hours in a day.

Had a few stragglers come in late and I was finally able to get them finished. I guess I would call this the end to a long and successful season. Only 1 month and we will start all over again. I will NOT be taking as many in this year as life is just too crazy right now. Thanks to everyone who allowed me to work on their trophies.and bring my ideas to life. As much as I am happy to see them come I am sad to see them leave.

The last of my big projects is finally done for the year. Many firsts but glad I took on the challenge. Definately NOT something i want to do very many of. This was the pose i wanted but the form was too small so i had to do some alterations. Not the prettiest cat but the big ones usually aren't. So with this being my first and potentially biggest, then add in the story, this one will be very tough to top.

Last deer of the season is done and gone. Was a struggle to start but turned out pretty good.

Wasn't able to add one to the wall this year so it was time to do a remount. Shot this buck on October 1st in 2008 and he was my first mount in 2012. I always like to mount my deer in the closest way to match the image that is imprinted in the memory in my head. This one just happens to be right before the arrow left the string. I contemplated doing a remount for a few reasons, but it will always be one of my most memorable hunts and ugly mounts are just bad for business. Safe to say they have come a long way.

Turkey season is well under way. Most of these are youngins first turkey which makes it even better.

The last ducks finished up and the last deer is drying. Only a couple big projects to do and I will finally be done.

Last one and it's already setting up to be the toughest. Lack of motivation and a super difficult cape. Will definately be releived to get him all done and be done with deer for the season.
