Overlake Farm in Bellevue, WA has a few openings for board and training with our wonderful on-site trainer Morgan Stephens (training is not required to board at Overlake).
Morgan’s primary focus is in developing happy and harmonious horses and riders. There is no better feeling than having a true connection with your horse both in and out of the saddle and Morgan’s dream is for every rider to have a chance to develop that same feeling with their horse through an understanding of equine behavior and horse and rider biomechanics. This is something that can benefit any rider, whether they ride for pleasure or with goals of competing.
Morgan has a background competing and coaching in the Hunters, Jumpers, and Eventing. She has also been an assistant to several established dressage trainers. Morgan has worked with riders and horses of all backgrounds and experience and accepts all students, regardless of your goals or riding discipline.

Overlake Farm now offers lessons to boarders and lessees with our on-site trainer, Morgan Stephens. She has a diverse background in the equine industry and focuses on finding the best methods for each horse and rider pair to succeed, understanding that there is no one size fits all approach to teaching and training! Morgan is happy to help all riding disciplines and levels of horse experience in their journey to creating a better relationship and connection with their horse and reach their goals.

Join us for our August 1-3 Session of Farm Camp!

Overlake Farm is excited to share the joy of caring for our horses and other farm animals this summer through fun games, activities, and hands on demos!

Our Farm Camps are a fantastic option for kiddos 5-12 years old and serve as the perfect introduction to horses and horsemanship for kids to prepare them for riding. Kids will learn about brushing, feeding, leading, and tacking up our horses to give them a great head start.

Even if your child isn’t horse crazy, we have plenty of other fun activities: hay mazes, obstacle courses, collecting eggs, and arts & crafts to name a few!

ISO Horse Farm Worker in Kirkland, WA to help with the horse boarding operations. $18/hr. Free housing may be available for right person. Great benefits for full-time employees (health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan...) Looking for a long-term partnership.

We are located in the heart of Bridle Trails and across the street from a 500-acre horse park. Conveniently located in between Google and Microsoft. Groceries, bus line, Starbucks, gym, just down the street.

Horse experience preferred but not necessary.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
-clean stalls and paddocks
-maintain the facility and care for the animals
-pasture management
-fix fences
-repair damaged enclosures or barns
-responsibly use machinery/vehicles
-order supplies
-move, feed, water, care for horses
-manage horse schedules
-hands on maintenance (landscaping, fixing fences, minor repairs)
- scheduling and overseeing workers

Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Organized and reliable
- No drama
- Must be willing to work outside and be able to lift hay bales sometimes.
- Farm requires someone who can do multiple tasks and is flexible
- Must pass a background screening and drug tests
- Must be responsible, honest, and work well with others
- No drugs, alcohol, etc.

Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to get to and from work as scheduled.
