Please be aware there is only a single known bag at this point. There may not be a larger problem but if you do feed this and have your dogs get sick, this info could help.

We are grateful for the frequent puppy inquiries but at this time, we have no current puppy plans due to family illness that doesn’t allow proper puppy raising time. However, if you are looking for our same lines in an outstanding breeder, Brittney at Madhouse Malinois has done amazing things and put out some really nice dogs. She has two exceptional daughters out of Copper (Inferno di Noraa) from her litter with Kora. As well as two granddaughters. I have seen all her recent litters and I am so impressed. They are excelling in IGP, PSA, AKC sports, search and rescue and other venues. All are health tested to OFA CHIC standards. She recently produced a finished bred by show champion that is a Copper granddaughter and is all working lines. (Frenzy pictured on the right)

After seeing these pups, one of these girls is a stand out sports/working prospect. The other likely a great active companion or starting sports dog or a first Malinois for someone. There is application information on the Madhouse’s Belgian Malinois & German Shepherd Kennel page.

All puppies have found their forever homes.

These puppies are anticipated to be structurally correct, well rounded puppies who will be versatile and adaptable to different careers with the correct training. Both parents are environmentally sound, stable, confident, and eager to train.
We expect to see very clear headed, biddable puppies who are eager to learn, however have the ability to live in the home with the family. Mid-High toy drive, Mid-High food drive; Neutral to most while maintaining an off-switch.
Puppies will be DM Clear by parentage, and will come with a hip, elbow and general health guarantee.

My puppies go home at 8 weeks old. At 7 weeks old each puppy will be temperament tested using a program known as Volhard system, which will be completed by a stranger to the puppies. This test will help me place each puppy in their appropriate home based on the new owner’s wants and needs.

Upon go home each puppy will have age appropriate vaccines, been previously dewormed 4 times using pyrantel at 2&4 weeks and fenbendazole at 6&8 weeks. My vet will perform a f***l float test to verify they are free of intestinal parasites. Each puppy gets a pamphlet with all of this information, in addition to the records from the veterinarian who provides these services. Each puppy is microchipped with a chip from “Fi Nano” that will come pre-registered in your name. This chip has a life time registration, so you will not be required to pay yearly fees on it. Additionally, I prepay AKC registration fees, and will be happy to set that up for each puppy once you come up with a name. I am happy to help you decide on a registration name that goes with your puppy’s name, should you need help.

Puppies will go home with a small go home kit, this included a small bag of food, toys, a bag of treats, a cow ear, and a blanket that smells like mom/siblings to make the transition period easier.

Due to a pleasant surprise of a couple more puppies than expected, Madhouse’s Belgian Malinois & German Shepherd Kennel will be taking applications for this litter that was born Labor Day and should be going home right around Halloween. This is one of, if not our last, outside breeding with Copper. They are also 3/4 siblings to the litter that produced Psych (quite possibly my favorite female Malinois out there, don’t tell mine), Sequel, Taco, Snafu & Luna.

UPDATE: Placement pending.

I reluctantly have a 1 yo female Malinois looking for her BFF. SOCIAL/stable, sound environmentals (slick floors, unstable surfaces etc). Social with strangers, kids, vets, dogs, and dog savvy cats in the home. She is a confident dog that will not back down if challenged by another dog though. She is still A LOT of dog with a lot of drive that will take advantage of a soft handler. She has some enthusiastic, reckless lack of body awareness… you just have to appreciate that kinda dog. Housetrained, crate trained, has to live in a home, not a kennel dog.

Preference for performance sports, detection, HRD, trailing type placements. Will place directly with a handler, not interested in resale situations. Will consider an active companion home willing to give her an outlet and training.

Ball is life, will work for food too.

Foundation in competition behaviors (IGP style obed), a correct start to them, not finished behaviors.

We are not planning any Malinois litters until late 2023. We are very excited about next year’s plans as we are crossing back to the very foundations of our lines, so if you are interested in 2023’s plans, please speak with us as you have time.

We are loving watching some of the successes in a variety of venues from our last litters. We are celebrating working certifications and sport titles as well as the stable companion dogs.

All placed 🙂

I have two females available from my current litter. All males reserved. These will be super fun sporty girls appropriate for several sports or active companions with training plans. AKC, vetted, microchipped, raised with Puppy Culture protocols. Temperament testing next week. Both parents OFA CHIC, Embark. It was a big litter and I didn’t take full reservations for the runt and one that was sick early on until I was confident everyone going to make it and be healthy (these are not those specific puppies, I’m keeping the runt and the other already has a home).

I tried taking cute pics of them together. But they found a toy instead 🤷‍♀️😂 I’ll update with 6 week old pics when I can wear them out.

Copper x Torch litter has been confirmed by ultrasound. We will be getting back to people with applications this weekend. We are also still accepting apps. These will be some fantastic sport dogs, both excel at odor work and tracking. Both have produced working/sport pups.

Placement pending 🙂

I have a 6.5 month old Malinois boy I bred that I’m just starting to look for the best placement for. He’s currently 44 pounds. I am looking for an owner dedicated to bringing out the best in him: a “the dog first, the sport second” kinda placement. Active pet homes considered. He was not a good fit for an urban search and rescue program due to environmental sensitivity. He went back to a home environment and a trainer experienced with the breed, and he’s making excellent progress.

Pros:
- Sweet, fun, flashy, biddable, sporty pocket rocket boy
- Appropriate and social with other dogs including toy breeds
- Nice prey, high possession
- Good food/high toy drive
- He’s got hops!
- Crate trained, house trained, no destructive habits
- Shines with both +R and balanced training methods, can take a fair correction
- Super cuddly lover boy
- AKC, microchipped, fully vetted
- OFA hip/elbow prelim good/normal. Both parents OFA hips, elbows and Embark tested.
- Currently with a professional trainer, New Leaf Canine Dog Training, for board and train who can continue with lessons (virtual or in person) if desired to improve transition.

Cons:
- Some environmental issues, rebounds in the same session but new buildings, slick floors and heavy urban environmentals are sometimes initially too much and he won’t work through it. He needs time to get comfortable, then he works.
- Developed bad habits in a kennel (not a crate, excellent in a crate) and I don’t want him back in a kennel situation. He needs to go to a home.
- Has some conflict issues, especially regarding possession, this is now improving but became engrained so it will be a long term process.
- A little too low threshold for my personal preference. Many people love his little tweak though.
- He will show avoidance/shut down under too much environmental or handler pressure.
- Not suitable for cats/small livestock home unless you are a professional trainer or have experience with predatory behavior in working dogs. He’s not the dog to learn on unless you’ve been wanting to bury your cat.
- NOT A BREEDING PROSPECT. Will be placed on non-breeding contract (can remain intact or be altered at maturity).

Prospect for AKC type obedience, rally, agility, disc, nosework, tracking, flyball, barn hunt, coursing, etc. He has the appropriate drives/grips for bitesports HOWEVER this will be a long term endeavor with the environmentals and conflict issues. I’m not saying no to bitework but I’m also not placing him as a candidate for someone with bitesport goals as a priority.

He could also be the active companion for someone not interested in sports but is going to give him a serious outlet to use drive and better him with training. Less environmentally stressful work like shed hunting, blood trailing, conservation detection etc a possibility with the right handler/job. He is NOT a working K9, detection, service dog or SAR prospect.

I’m not in a hurry to place him, he’s making huge strides being back with a Malinois savvy trainer but would love to start talking with someone. Allow me a few days to get back on messages. Located in Central Texas, ground transport possible.
