This is a SHARE from another groomer’s post but absolutely necessary to share.

We aren’t “miracle” workers. There is so much mental and physical work that goes into gaining the trust with every single pet. Grooming is not “one size fits all”

Some pets will learn easily, others with the same repetition and effort can take many visits (or never happen due to past experience, owners anxiety (yes this affects your pets experience as well) or just plain lack of persistence.

There are so many factors to consider, this is not a trade for the faint of heart.

Please feel free to have an open dialogue with me if I am your groomer, or your preferred groomer If I am not.

As it is the giving season, Fast & Furriest is doing a gift card raffle to benefit Community Pet Rescue.

Each $10 donation will land you an entry into the pot. The gift card is to help a local small business, The Canine Crunchery, Inc.. as well as our local non- profit.

Gift card value is $50. Unlimited entries, and the business will personally match up to $250 in donations.

Many of you are aware of the THIEVES that are hitting Boone County and cuttingout catalytic converters from RV'S and other large vehicles.

These scumbags hit Teal Amber's Fast & Furriest Mobile Pet Salon and literally TOOK HER OUT OF BUSINESS!! Her deduction is a high one, so she is forced out of pocket with this expense!

She grooms all 3 of my dogs and my daughter's 3 dogs, and our pups LOVE AND TRUST HER. I know many of my friends use her as well.

PLEASE help her get the bus back up & running and grooming all of our fur babies.

Anything helps! Literally every little penny helps!

As everyone has been aware of, there have been some setbacks the last few months. We are sorry to announce that there was also criminal damage done to the vehicle this week.

We have camera footage, have reported to police, and are once again waiting for things to be rectified. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as always.

This run of bad luck is leading to the ultimate comeback! We are NOT going to leave our faithful clients without care.

We have received the new equipment to get us back on the road! We will be reaching out over the next week or so to reschedule everyone still waiting!!

One thing to know about mobile grooming is that is in no way, shape or form an easy profession.

While the AC has been resolved, there is now another issue needing addressed. Again, we appreciate everyone’s patience while getting things taken care of.

Hopefully we’ll be back on the road mid week next week.

UPDATE: the issue is resolved! I will be reaching out to everyone throughout today-Friday for scheduling!!!

We’re having a major bummer right now with our AC unit in the bus. We’ll be dropping it for service. Please be aware all current schedulings may need to be pushed out a bit, and new clients are on hold until the issue is resolved.
