Ahhh march kicks off chick season with everyone wanting eggs at the same time. I have many people waiting on eggs, and that’s on you can hatch through august in IL and still have a good brooder and solid grow out by the time it snows.
I had downsized due to my dad being so sick. Please do not guilt or message me for school eggs for classes or friends as I need to fill and ship the eggs that have been paid for in line. If I have extra eggs for classrooms I’ll post. I may only have half as many as I would normally have for the schools I normally donate to so I will not have eggs for friends of friends on here.

Loveridge Farm

This is a 3rd generation 10 acre farm that lost the original barns & Silo’s in the historic Belvidere Tornado in 1967. Since then we started a small flock for eggs that slowly gained attention for the variety of egg color we offer! We let our chickens free range with the protection from our roosters and our very lovable Doberman. I started my Olive Egger project 5 years ago with French Cuckoo Marans mixing every summer for the perfect shade of green and have since added in French Black Copper Marans! I have fallen in love with the beauty of the lavender Orpingtons and the friendliness of the Mille Fluer D’uccles! My Marans are a Greenfire line, my D’uccles are APA champions Vaughn Line. I added in some Calico Cochins as well as Frizzle and Millie Fluer bantam Cochins for 2020.
