Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's back over the hill we go! Our last trip to DevonWood of the season takes us to the the GAIG/USDF Region 6 Championships & Cascade Dressage Festival! This year we have three adult amateurs--Susan A., Julia, and Nancy--competing in the AA Prix St. Georges Championship! Mari will also compete at Prix St. Georges in the open division. Ashley and Liam will vie for the AA Third Level Championship and try out Fourth Level for the Cascade Dressage Festival portion of the show. And Erika rounds out our lineup with her young eventing horse, Landser, who is gaining show experience in the Cascade Dressage Festival Training Level classes. Please join us in wishing everyone good luck this weekend!

Good luck to Natalie Perry and Ronda Fitton at DevonWood in the Spring, the first Alliance Equestrian Center show of the year. Unfortunately lameness and a colic kept our other entries at home, but we are glad Ronda and Natalie are getting to enjoy the beautiful weather and take their horses for a spin around the sandbox! Trainer Natalie is debuting her own Karina G, a 2015 KWPN mare, at Third Level. Adult amateur Ronda is riding Sir Gallahad, her Arabian-Friesian gelding, at First and Second. Good luck, ladies!

So proud of Harvey! He rocked the region 6 and Rainier championships this past weekend. Thursday we won the rainier PSG championships with a 72.2! Friday we won the regional championship with a 69. Saturday we went for our first I1 and even though he was tired and we had never run through the test, he won the FEI TOC class with a 66.7. Thank you so much to his owner , Nancy, for sharing this amazing guy with me. ❤️

A fun day at the Rainier and USDF Region 6 Championships! Harvey and Natalie won the USDF Open Prix St. George’s championship!
Mari finished up her Fourth level open Rainier division taking home the championship.
Julia Kelleher finished up her Second level AA Rainier championship with a great ride to bring home the Reserve Champion title.
The youngsters, Mickey and Ella were a bit nervous at a new venue with so much going on but they are finding their groove! Mickey was definitely overwhelmed with the venue but really relaxed this afternoon. Unfortunately a bit fly was trying to attack him right before our first ride today which really killed our flow! He came in 5th in the Rainier training level with a 72 yesterday and a 66 today. He was 8th at first level with a 64 yesterday and a 67 today. Ella earned a 73% at 1-3 today to go with her 64 from yesterday and two 70’s at training level yesterday and today. She ended 3rd in the Rainier training level open and 7th in the first level. We are at Donida and have gotten started with the Rainer NW Championships. Already, Natalie and Nancy Weaver's Harvard R have claimed the Rainer NW Championship for Open Prix St. Georges with a score of 72.206%!! Congrats to Natalie, Nancy, and "Harvey"!
