Welcome
My name is Christine Cole. I am lucky to live in beautiful Central Oregon, near the little town of Sisters. My passion is animals. I raised and exhibited poultry for 12 years, have had horses for 21 years and have had some experience with a myriad of other species. Right now, I raise rabbits for show ( Forest Floor Rabbitry ) and a small flock of sheep for meat, fiber and milk. I have registered southdown sheep as well as a registered lincoln ewe and a few crossbreds. I raise my sheep on grass and hay with grain only for the nursing ewes and lambs up to 3 months. Then on, they are only given a free choice vitamin/mineral supplement. Lambs destined for the freezer are grass finished. I will have a few meat lambs available each year. I will also have quality purebred and crossbred lambs available for 4h projects and breeding stock.
