Will bring all supplies needed for a professional, quality groom. Beneficial for puppies, geriatric dogs, or dogs who have a fear of salons. I started to groom my Labradoodle, Sophie, years ago when she took a seizure after a groom in a mobile van. Grooming Sophie was a bonding experience for me and her, and it felt wonderful to provide such care for her, to help her with itchy skin issues, and to
use my creative abilities to keep my Doodle Beautiful! After I was laid-off from my job last summer, I seriously started to think about a dog grooming career. After researching schools, I decided to enroll at the Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania in Yardley, PA, the only school in Southeastern PA licensed by the Dept. This was an excellent program and I am now a Certified Groomer. I will continue my education by attending groom expos & online classes, such as an animal safety & CPR course. I decided to start with a house call grooming business as there are many benefits to house call grooming: it provides a low-stress, cage-free environment for the dog; you do not have to leave them at a salon and therefore, separation anxiety is reduced; it provides one-on-one care and your dog will build a relationship with me as grooms continue; it lowers the risk of your dog catching fleas and other diseases; pets will not get car sick since they remain at home; pet parents are present in the home during the groom, and they can continue with their daily activities; it can be comforting to new puppies, geriatric dogs, sick dogs, and dogs who have had a negative experience with salons. I hope for an opportunity to service you and your pup very soon!
