I read this today and I don't ever want to forget it. "There was a moment in time when Moses had the courage to ask God what his name is. God answered, and the name he gave is recorded in the original Hebrew text as YHWH. Over the centuries, humans have arbitrarily added an "a" and an "e" in there to get YaHWeH. Presumably bc we have a preference for vowels. But scholars and Rabi's have noted that the letters YHWH represent breathing sounds, or asperated consonants. When pronounced without intervening vowels, it actually sounds like breathing. YH(inhale): WH(exhale). Perhaps this is why YHWH was considered an unspeakable name...bc quite literally it is not supposed to be spoken, but breathed. So from our first breath to our last, we are speaking the name of God. It's no wonder when we hold our breath in fear, we are told to take a deep breath to help calm us down. And it's not a coincidence that we often take a deep breath to help muster up courage. YHWH has given us His name as our very breath of life."

Ok let me update. I'm terrible at posting. Brady has already txt me and made fun of me. Lol.
I'm not sick. I'm old. Lolololo

I know we don't make very many post lately. Not even sure how many will see this post. We have some changes coming next month. We are going to 3 days a week. We are going to start closing on Fridays. Please be patient as we figure out the scheduling. I'm trying to keep being able to work and Brady has a second business as well. We plan on working longer hours on the 3 days we work and will have Monday and Friday to fall back on.
I don't want to have to retire but this job is more physical than people think so your patience with everything will be much appreciated

"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.

Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.

Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

I will put a sign up In the shop also for reminder. There will be a $2 price increase for full grooming and a $2 price increase for baths only, effective January 2023
