EVERYONE MEET NANDOR!! Nandor was abandoned by an owner who no longer wanted to take care of him. He is currently in a foster home in Berlin with other cats. He is a friendly, affectionate, playful guy with LOTS of energy! He loves catnip toys and the ball-in-track cat toy. He is an assertive, dominant cat who gets along with other cats and likes to play after he settles in. He can be rather dramatic and hissy with other cats initially, but calms down relatively quickly. He enjoys attention, and will purr up a storm! He eats canned cat food only. He is 2 years old, and has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

EVERYONE MEET MARLA!!! Marla was rescued as a stray. She is currently in a foster home in Hartford with two older female cats. She is a bit shy initially and will require patience, but is a very friendly, affectionate kitty after she settles in. She likes to give and receive attention on her own terms, and loves to snuggle up in bed! She would love to be the only pet in a quiet home without children, but she is also fine with calm, quiet pets that respect her boundaries. She is 11 years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She has also had a complete dental cleaning and a senior blood panel, and everything looks good!

Meowdy, I'm Cricket.
Very sadly, my owner suddenly passed away. I am currently in a foster home in Berlin with other cats that I hang out with. I'm quite shy, and will require a very patient, experienced cat owner. I like to play, and prefer a quiet, calm household without children. I do well with other calm kitties. I am almost 7 years old, and have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Caspian was rescued from the middle of a street in New Haven. Luckily, he was unharmed, but petrified! He is currently in a foster home in Waterbury with three adult male cats. He is a very friendly, affectionate kitty who wants ALL of the attention! He is extremely playful and active, and will need to have another young kitty in his new home who will be able to keep up with his rough and tumble play! He is 5 months old, and has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Stevie was rescued as a stray, and was living under a porch in Hartford with his brother Ray and mother Andrea. He and his family are currently in a foster home in Berlin with other cats. Stevie & Ray were born with superior eyelid agenesis, which is a birth defect that resulted in most of the upper eyelids failing to develop. Their left eyes were quite damaged and were removed, and the lower lids of the left eyes were grafted to create upper lids for their right eyes. Their right eyes should be monitored regularly by a veterinary ophthalmologist to ensure that all is well. They are both very friendly, affectionate, playful kitties who will need to be adopted into a household with an existing young cat who would like to play with them, or as a pair. They are 7-8 months old, and have been neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Baron's wonderful foster Auntie saw him off to his purrfect new home after exactly one year of foster care! He will be missed, but we're looking forward to updates after he settles in. Best wishes to you, Baron!

New Year's update on Brooklyn & Bronx from their wonderful new home:
The kitties are doing great! They are the biggest loves ever- they switch off between cuddling/sleeping and zooming around our apartment. Bronx loves to play with pipe cleaners over any other toy, and Brooklyn loves climbing anything she can!
