Over the last 15+ years, HTAC has found homes for over 1000 cats in Connecticut. Our staff is all volunteer and takes no compensation.

Zarai’s owner couldn’t afford to take care of her. She is currently in a foster home in Berlin. She is an extremely friendly, affectionate, playful kitty who LOVES to be the center of attention! She is very curious and active, and will follow her humans everywhere they go and purr up a storm! She is chatty, and likes to have conversations about whatever happens to be going on. She is dramatic when meeting other cats, but can get along with them after an adjustment period. She might be okay with one or two other cats that are calm, confident, and will give her space. She would also be fine as an only pet. She eats canned food only. Zarai is 5-6 months old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Oliver was rescued as a stray by a kind neighbor in Berlin. He is currently in a foster home in Wethersfield with his buddy Dill and other cats. He is a friendly, affectionate guy who likes to be the center of attention, and is fine with cat-savvy kids. He is very active and likes to wrestle, and needs to have another cat to play with to keep him occupied, as he would be bored as an only cat. He would love to be adopted as a pair with his buddy Dill. He eats canned food only. A big Hidden Treasures welcome hug to our newest arrivals-Pilaf & Pandora! These adorable, friendly girls were rescued as strays, and would love to be adopted as a pair. They are fine with dogs and other cats after the usual adjustment period, and kids 5 years and older. Mimsy has beautiful blue eyes, and Jabberwocky has one blue eye and one yellow eye. Sebastien was rescued as a stray in Hartford. He is a very sweet, affectionate, cuddly guy, and loves to jump in any available lap and purr! He is chatty and loves to play, but is also quite happy to cuddle up and chill. He gets along well with female cats. He has food sensitivities, and eats Dr. Elsey’s cleanprotein duck recipe canned food. He is one and a half years old, and has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

🚨HELP MOMMY🚨

WE NEED $800 BY THURSDAY, EEEEPPP!!! We definitely don’t have that in the bank acc right now 😭

As you all know mommy has been having some health issues that are best described to be poor motility of the GI tract. But we have switched and added medications a couple times now and even just switched her food. We can’t keep putting a bandaid over her problems we need to find the source so we can address it correctly. Please help us help give Mommy the best chance, without your support we can’t give her the care she needs and deserves. Please share with your friends and family as well, thank you ❤️

Hidden Treasures will be having ADOPTION EVENTS on Saturday, July 20 from 1-4 pm at the New Britain Public Library, 20 High Street in New Britain, AND on Sunday, July 21 from 1-4 pm at Pet Supplies Plus, 1142 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield. Holmes, Moriarty, Swizz, Alicia, Andrea, Caspian, Ray, Nandor, Ali, Carina, Sebastien and The Great Katsby will be attending the events-please stop by for a visit!
