After the generosity of our Sperry View family, we decided to organize another relief effort for the two and four-legged victims of Helene. We have secured an empty horse trailer to bring goods to Tryon International Equestrian Center or another location that the Fleet of Angels identifies.

** We are collecting both two and four-legged donations. **

Donations needed from Tryon and Fleet of Angels are shared in the attached pictures.

Donations can be dropped in our smaller indoor arena, to the left as you walk in.

If you would rather contribute monetarily, we can gather goods to fill the trailer. The farm’s Venmo is -doering-3. The farm’s PayPal is . Please note “donation” or Helene on the money sent. 100% of the donations will go our Helene relief effort.

If it’s easier to just donate, here are some guidelines.

$10 = bale of hay
$20 = beet pulp
$30 = bag of forage, grain, timothy or alfalfa pellets
$20-40 = dog food, cat food, litter
$50 = human aid kit (first aid, socks, toiletries)

Donations will be accepted until 10/16. If this date changes, we will update everyone.

In under 24 hours, our Sperry View Family rallied for Helene donations for Fleet of Angels organized by Rising Starr Horse Rescue. We filled the back of a pickup!

Pictured below is our donations with those Rising Starr already collected.

We are so thankful and in awe of the generosity of our SVF family, who rallied and donated with short notice.

Stayed tuned, we are organizing more donation opportunities.

Sperry View Jumper Show #2 Results

Crossrail Division
Ashling and Moon swept the division and were division champions.

18” Division
Quinn and Savvy swept the division and were division champions.

2’0”-2’3” Division
A very competitive division between Molly, Lauren, and Colby, all neck and neck until the last jump round. Molly took away the division championship on Bene and Lauren took home the reserve championship on Boo.

2’3”-2’6” Division
Our largest division of the day with Stephaine, Alia, Heidi, and Kylie, all riding great rounds. Stephaine took home the division championship on SVF’s resident Flying Dutchman, Remy. Kylie took home the reserve champion on Henrietta.

2’6”-2’9” Division
Stefanie, Rachel, and Julia put forward great rides! Stefanie and SVF’s Vanina swept the division and were division champions while Julia on Devotion took home the reserve.

2’9”-3’0” Division
We closed out the day with Beth, Eloise, and Jen riding impressive rounds. Jen and Opie took home the division championship. Beth and Eloise were neck and neck. Timing determined the reserve champions, Beth and Hanna.

Thank you to all of the volunteers. We could not run this day without you! We hope you can join us again on Saturday, October 26th for our Sperry View Farm Jumper Show #3. On top of a Halloween theme, we are tossing around the idea of a costume class or competing in a costume, if feasible.

One of our resident riders, Annie Brinton, took photographs of everyone. When they are available, we will let you know.

Lastly, Hilltop Turf and Landscape provided us with beautiful mums! Check them out for landscape needs!

Sleeping Giant Pony Club raised over $170 with their bake sale and “grab and donate” tack sale.

At our next show, at the conclusion of each division, Series Division Champions and Reserve Champions will be passed out. As a reminder, riders need to ride in 2 of our 3 shows and in the same division to qualify. We have the generous support of Cheshire Equestrian Center, Lock, Stock, & Barrel, SmartPak and Sperry View Supporters to give special prizes to the series division champions.
