She thinks she’s a puppy dog 🐶 😂
Horse Feathers Daphne has been confirmed in foal. She is 15 days today by Ritz Carlton. Who is doing amazing in training and showing amazing results settling mares this year at the young age of 2 which is uncommon for a Draft Horse. 🐎

She is such a firecracker I love it 🤣😂
Heartbeat check confirmed today at 28 days. Crown Cavalo Ritz Carlton was collected and bred our lovely-sweet and kind Jewels. This foal will be an F2 drum horse with a great mixture of Gypsy Vanner, Clydesdale, and Shire. Color possibilities are 50% Buckskin Tobiano or 50% Smokey Black Tobiano. We have a long 10 months ahead of us.
She’s finally home 😍 our Daphne x Arthur filly is looking for a name. Comment your name for her below 🍀she’s a special girl that almost didn’t make it but she’s doing amazing now!
Daphne’s new filly had pneumonia and Omphalophlebitis: the later is an inflammation and/or infection of the umbilical vein.
Once her pneumonia looked cured the focus turned to the omphalophlebitis with surgical marsupialization of the umbilical vein remnant because complete resection of the infected tract was not possible. The infected umbilical stalk was resected, and the umbilical vein remnant was marsupialized in a one-stage procedure by suturing it into the abdominal wall lateral to the abdominal incision. Antimicrobial drugs are being administered. The marsupialized is a hole where the vein is now directed out of the body to drain.
Prayers over the next couple days are appreciated and welcomed. She is a fighter, our little dragon🐉, and full of fire and the desire to live❣️
An update on our little filly 🙏 prayers still welcome
Baby Princess relaxing
We feel you, Princess 👸 - some Mondays hit harder than others
It's been quite a full house with mares and foals and stallions here at our haul-in facility, but we're loving it - especially when we get a little extra cute foal time 😍
Hope for the best but plan for the worst. Unfortunately, our foal exam was off with our new beautiful filly. Her respiratory rate was high and seemed a little weak. This is why we always have our foals examined by a Vet as soon as possible after foaling and Millbrook Equine has been at my side with great advice. Dr. Alana King and her assistant Lee care for my Horses just as I would and I am forever thankful for their genuine concern.
So the call to rush mare and foal to the emergency hospital was made because with new born foals they decline rapidly and without warning. Savannah Coscarella and her father John are my ultimate heros. They got Daphne and her filly loaded in the trailer and rushed to the vet hospital over an hour away. The truck broke down at the door of the vet and waited until I could get the transportation home. When it rains it pours. Thank you so much 🙏
Prayers welcome for our beautiful baby girl.
Introducing to you, our newest baby girl (filly) born this morning at 6:50am. By Avalon’s King Arthur and out of Horse Feathers Daphne, Beautifully done you two ❣️
Feeling blessed is such an understatement for how lucky we are to have kind and beautiful mares. Their poses are fun 😂
Daphne enjoying a spa day at 321 of her pregnancy. We are so thrilled and excited waiting for Arthur and Daphne’s foal to arrive ❣️
By utilizing artificial insemination, you reduce the potential for injury and disease transmission inherent in live cover breedings. Most stallions can be trained to use the phantom within a week or two week period. When adequately trained, stallions retain what they’ve learned so at any point in the future a phantom can be used without hesitation. Thank you Millbrook Equine for helping to train Ritz 🐴
Ritz walked right onto the trailer for his vet appointment today. So proud of him 🙏🙌 Can’t you tell he loves to roll around in the mud? 🤣
Daphne is 300 days pregnant today. Now we just pray for atleast 21 more days 🙏
What do we like to do in the spring? Sun bathe 😂🌞
Primrose and Xander really aligned the stars with this filly!
Princess Diana is the perfect mixture of all the best qualities both Prim and Xander have to offer. She’s got a beautifully sized head, striking shoulder and hip, long legs with plenty of bone, a beautiful, floating trot, and she’s going to be hairy! Princess Diana is sweet and affectionate with a proud, confident attitude, just like Prim.
Test results came in and she is HOMOZYGOUS TOBIANO! EETT
This sweet filly accepts a halter easily throughout the day and has her feet picked up daily. Deciding whether or not to keep Princess Diana will be difficult.
Let’s celebrate Crown Cavalo’s Princess Diana and her new given name. Being tall and beautiful she resembles the late Princess Diana. She already turns heads and is soon to stop crowds. She is strong, courageous, and loving. She will go on to win many awards. We can see her future so clearly just by her personality. 🦋
24 hours later, she’s drunk off her all you can drink brunch milk bar 🤪
Please welcome our beautiful F2 Drum filly born at 5:15 am 💗💗💗💗
She is by Alexander the Great and out of Primrose.
This will be a very athletic filly; whom we are so excited has arrived.

Is she not the cutest Clydesdale ever? 🤣 luckily she will be good as new soon. Already on the mend. ❤️🩹
The hair, shenanigans, and mud is real during these wet times but thanks to Savannah Coscarella they are thriving in it. These big Drum horses and Clydesdales love you 😘
Have a Happy & Healthy 2024 🥂
Prim is 7 months infoal hanging out with Jewels. Fall is a pretty sight but as long as they have grass they don’t care what it looks like outside 😂
Ritz is having so much fun with his new friends. He’s learning so much on so many levels it truly amazes me. Keep on learning boy ✊ We are so thankful for Heather Meyer Horsemanship and her amazing knowledge 💙 Thank you Susan Fino for these lovely pictures

Daphne’s 30 day heart beat check. You can see the heartbeat of the foal if you look to the center. 💕💕💕
Ritz is 8 months old today. He needs a bath but it’s just too cold. He loves to be scratched all over his body but he will turn his butt to you for some extra booty attention. He loves carrots and apples and peppermint candies. He’s our first foal on the farm and we are so thankful for him and all of our horses. Happy 8 Months Mr. blue eyes
My little girl is growing up 🥰 Rainha is now 6 months young and full of spunk. Still my sweet, in my pocket, filly. Rainha is the only Galway Warrior grand daughter born in 2022. She is a solid black F3 drum horse with unique leg marking which will make her stand out in the ring. she has a nice mix of Clydesdale and Shire lines. Rainha is guaranteed to have the size, conformation, hair, and superb movement to fit the premium standard of the Drum horse! A filly you won’t want to miss out on.
Crown Cavalo Ritz Carlton is one week shy of 6 months. He is an amazing colt measuring this week at 13 hands. We are hoping he makes 15 hands by his first birthday 🥳 EECrCrTT He’s our Smoky Cream Dream but aside from his color he is so much more.
Ritz is an colt from our imported mare, Primrose and our first foal ever at our farm, Crown Cavalo. This is a gorgeous F1 colt (50% gypsy, 37.50% shire, 12.5% clydesdale). He has 2 very blue eyes, lovely movement and very easy to handle. Ritz is strutting his stuff out in the paddock. Prim turned around to tell him to be careful while she enjoys an afternoon snack. Just because she’s feeding 2 😂
