Dr. Emily spent the day outside, attending to patient care virtually in between various spring permaculture needs: pruning fruit trees and berry bushes, planting veggie seeds, composting and mulching, and going for a jaunt with the pups 🙌☀️

I had the opportunity to visit Merlin, who is the sweetest boy. His mom, a younger woman, decided to adopt him after he experienced foster care challenges due to his extreme nervousness and congenital heart murmur/heart disease. During my home visits, we managed to improve his care significantly, and I assisted in ensuring a safe and stress-free experience during his echo. Last weekend we participated in a partnered wellness clinic with and to help get many pets examined and vaccinated. It was a total success! Huge shout outs to for helping to subsidize the care we delivered to our patients as well as for their generous donation of canine and feline distemper vaccines through their program. We hope to offer these clinics with some frequency in the future. If you’re interested in helping to subsidize care for other pets, feel free to reach out and we can facilitate. It takes a village!

We were lucky enough to spend some time with this handsome fella, Jameson, yesterday. He had his first cold laser treatment and acupuncture session and it’s safe to say he found his zen ✌🏻
Fun fact; tech Kate knew Jameson when he was a young pup at dog daycare. It was a lovely reunion years later 🐾

How does a veterinarian celebrate her Valentine's Day to the fullest? With a CARDIAC ultrasound of one of her sweet cats, of course!
Little miss Basil is in need of a dental cleaning and was previously diagnosed with HCM; Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (link below). To ensure a safe anesthetic event, it was recommended that she undergo an echocardiogram. Thankfully Dr. Stone at performs this diagnostic and extended his efforts to making sure my sweet girl stays safe for her procedure.
Good news; Basil's HCM is mild and stable ❤️
